DECREE NO 1006
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That the Fundación Ayudame a Vivir Pro-Children with Cancer of El Salvador, performs non-profit work for children with leukemia.
II.-That in order to fulfill this task, it is necessary to acquire medicines and reagents from outside to meet medical needs
required, whether they are free of charge or onerous.
III.-That in addition to incurring expenses for the purchase of such medications,
it is also up to you to pay the respective taxes for the aforementioned imports.
IV.-That it becomes necessary to exonerate the payment of taxes for the period of one year, the importation of medicines and reagents that the cited Foundation introduces to the country.
V.-That according to the faculties that to this Legislative Assembly Article 131 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of including a "bodegaje", which could cause the introduction to the country of
the referred drugs and reagents.
BY TANTO,
in use of its Constitutional faculties and at the initiative of the Deputy Reynaldo Antonio López Cardoza.
DECRETA:
Art. 1.-declare exempt from the payment of taxes or tax rates for one year, counted from this date, including bodegage, except for the Tax on the Transfer of Furniture and Services (VAT), which may cause the import of medicines and reagents that the
Ayudame to Live Foundation does.
This Foundation must report quarterly to this Assembly on all the goods
introduced to the country, protected in the present Decree.
Art. 2.-This Decree will enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
