THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I. That by Legislative Decree No. 523 dated October 31, 2013, published in the Official Journal
N ° 225, Tomo N ° 401, of December 2 of that same year, the Salaries Law for Fiscal Year 2014 was voted.
II. That dated August 12, 2013, a Collective Labor Contract was held between the Holders of the
Ministry of Government and the Trade Union Coalition made up of workers ' organizations and
The Ministry of Labor, which regulates labor relations between the workers who provide services in and for the Government Ramo, and who was
enrolled in the Ministry of Labor on 14 November of the same year.
III. That in Clause No. 94 Salaries of the said Contract, it is established that during its first year of
the salaries of all workers who earn less than US$ 440.00 per month will be leveled, which will be subject to budgetary availability, to the
approvals of the respective institutions and the corresponding legal procedures.
IV. That in order to give partial compliance to this provision, the lords of the Ministry of Government and Territorial Development and representatives of the Union Coalition, agreed to level from 1 September 2014
a total of 169 places with a lower salary of US$ 400.00 per month,
adjusting them to that amount, whose cost amounts to $28,800, which will be financed with available allocations from the same Ramo.
V. That with the purpose of the Ministry of Government and Territorial Development to comply with the
commitments established in the approved Collective Agreement, it is necessary to reform the Law of
corresponding adjustments.

in use of its Constitutional powers and on the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the
Minister of Finance.
DECCRETA:
Art. 1.- In the Salaries Act of this Fiscal Year, which shall be valid from 1 January to 31 December 2014, I-SALARIES WITH APPLICATION TO THE GENERAL BUDGET OF THE STATE, in the
part corresponding to the Ramo de Governance and Territorial Development, replace the Wage Act, by the
below is detailed:
