DECREE NO 868
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That Article 92 Ordinary 3 ° of the Constitution of the Republic, and 12 of the Law of Honorific Distances, Gratitude and Titles, establish that they will be able to obtain the quality of Salvadorans by naturalization, which by Notable services provided to the Republic obtain this quality from the Legislative Body.
II.-That Andres Salvador Carranza, a Jesuit priest, of Spanish nationality, born on 30 November 1936, and who currently resides in Santa Tecla, Department of Freedom, has resided in El Salvador for more than 40 years, and since his He arrived in the country dedicated his life to the evangelization of the poorest communities.
III.-That the priest Andrés Salvador Carranza Ona, is parish priest of the Church El Carmen de Santa Tecla, where he serves as spiritual advisor of the Movement of Conjugal Encuentales de Santa Tecla, promoting family unity and Christian values in the " marriages and families.
IV.-That the priest Andrés Salvador Carranza Ona, better known as Father Chambita, has worked tirelessly for the reconstruction of the temple of El Carmen Parish, affected by the earthquakes of 2001, the which is protected by the Special Law on the Protection of the Cultural Heritage of El Salvador.
V.-That by virtue of the above, and on the basis of his application, it is appropriate to grant to the Priest Andrés Salvador Carranza Ona, Spanish nationality, the quality of "SALVADORAN BY NATURALIZATION" in recognition of the services
