DECREE NO 858

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That the existing delimitation between the Municipalities that comprise the Department of Peace does not conform to the present development of the technology in the field of registration and territorial measurement; nor to the existing ones circumstances of social and economic development of the country.

II.-What with the technology registration and the photogrammetric models currently available from the National Center of Registers; it is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of these limits.

III.-That a process of dialogue has developed between the Municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Records Center and the Geographic Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way to the elaboration and signature of the Municipal Limit Act SAN JUAN TEPEZONTES-SAN PEDRO NONUALCO with reference No. 0812-0816, which is taken as the basis for the content of this Decree and is annexed as an integral part of it.

IV.-That in accordance with Art. 131 Ordinary 5 of the Constitution is the competence of this State Authority to decree, authentically interpret, reform and repeal secondary laws.

THEREFORE,

The use of his Constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputies Guadalupe Antonio Vásquez Martínez, Manuel Vicente Menjívar, Mario Eduardo Valiente Ortiz, Carlos Cortez Hernández, Nery Arely Díaz Aguilar, Lucia del Carmen Ayala de León, Audelia Guadalupe Lopez de Kleutgens, Mario Alberto Tenorio Guerrero and former Deputies Santos Guevara Ramos, Karla Gisela Abrego and Mildred Guadalupe Machado.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-It is established as a limit between the Municipalities of San Juan Tepezontes and San Pedro Nonualco, both of the Department of La Paz, the following:

The trace of the Municipal Limit is composed of one single journey, determined by a single section, formed by two points, numbered from one to two, by natural hydrographic element.

Trifinium starting point. It is defined at the mouth of the Quebrada Michango on the Jiboa River, where the number one spot is located, at the same time trifinium for the Municipalities of San Miguel Tepezontes, San Pedro Nonualco and San Juan Tepezontes, all belonging to to the Department of Peace. Its coordinates are equal length, five hundred three thousand three hundred and seventy-nine point fifty-two meters; equal latitude, two hundred and seventy-six thousand-hundred and forty-zero-meters. Its adjoining members are, for the Municipality of San Miguel Tepezontes, plot two hundred and thirty-six, of the sector

zero eight fourteen R zero one; for the Municipality of San Pedro Nonualco, four hundred and thirty plots and seven, from the sector zero eight sixteen R zero one and for the Municipality of San Juan Tepezontes, plot one hundred and ninety-four, from the sector zero eight twelve R zero two.

Journey unique

Single Tramo, from point number one to point number two. With a Southwest course, in a winding line, by the central axis of the Jiboa River, downstream, to the mouth of the River Timiaya, where the number two point is located, with an approximate distance of four thousand seven hundred and seventy-one point eighty and Four metres. Its coordinates are equal Length, five hundred and one thousand nine hundred and fourteen point ninety-seven meters; latitude equal, two hundred and seventy-two thousand four hundred and fifty-six point forty-eight meters. Its adjacent ones are for the Municipality of San Pedro Nonualco, plots four hundred and thirty-seven, four hundred and forty-one, sixty-four, forty-four, forty-two, twenty-six and one hundred and seventy-six, all of the sector zero eight Sixteen R zero one, plots two hundred and ninety-three, two hundred and seventy-five, two hundred and seventy-one, two hundred and forty-five, two hundred and forty-seven, two hundred and forty-nine, two hundred and fifty-one, two hundred and fifty-one, and five, two hundred and seventy-seven and three hundred one, all of the sector zero eight sixteen R zero five; for the Municipality of San Juan Tepezontes, plots one hundred and ninety-four, one hundred and eighty-three and one hundred and eighty, all of the sector zero eight twelve R zero two, plot seventy-four, sixty-six, both of the sector zero eight twelve R zero four, plots two hundred and eighty two, three hundred twelve and three hundred fourteen, all of the sector zero eight twelve R zero five, parcel twenty-one, of the sector zero eight twelve R zero six.

Trifinium point of arrival. The point of arrival will be the one described as number two, which at the same time is a trifinium point for the Municipalities of San Pedro Nonualco, Santiago Nonualco and San Juan Tepezontes, all belonging to the Department of La Paz. Its adjacent ones are, for the Municipality of San Pedro Nonualco, plot three hundred one, of the field zero eight sixteen R zero five; for the Municipality of Santiago Nonualco, plot one hundred nine, of the field zero eight nineteen R zero one and for the Municipality of San Juan Tepezontes, parcel twenty-one, of the sector zero eight twelve R zero six.

Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
