DECREE NO 932

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinary 11 ° of the Constitution, it is the faculty of this Legislative Assembly to decree, in a general manner, benefits and tax incentives or of any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other activities.

II. Our country exists groups of people who use the bicycle either as a means of transport, to exercise, or as a means of work, to create awareness in other people in having a healthy life or simply for healthy recreation, contributing in this way to the environment, generating zero emissions of gases.

III.-That on some occasions these groups of cyclists do even social work, supporting noble causes, so it is meritorious that To recognize their contribution to society, in order to continue to encourage all the people who are part of this group that promotes altruistic and humanitarian aid, so it is appropriate to declare on the nineteenth of September each year as "El Salvador Biker's Day".

FOR TANTO,

in use of its constitutional powers and Deputy Francisco José Zablah Safie's initiative.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-Declare the nineteenth of September of each year, as "DAY OF THE SALVADORAN CYCLIST", in recognition of their work, discipline and example for the benefit of the Salvadoran population.

Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.

GIVEN IN THE BLUE HALL OF THE LEGISLATIVE PALACE: San Salvador, at twenty-one day of the month of January of the year two thousand fifteen.
