DECREE No. 931 THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I.- accordance with Article 131, Ordinal 11 of the Constitution, it is this power to enact Legislative Assembly, generally, benefits and tax incentives or other nature, to promote, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other cultural activities.
II.- by Legislative Decree No. 41 dated May 4, 1948, published in the Official Gazette No. 99, Volume No. 144, dated May 12, 1948, was established on May 15, each year as "the Nurses Day".
III.- because today the nursing profession is exercised by an increasingly significant number of male persons, reform becomes from that decree to incorporate people of male exercise that profession.
THEREFORE,
in exercise of its constitutional powers and initiative of Congresswoman Carmen Elena Figueroa Rodriguez and Enrique Barrientos Deputy Eduardo Zepeda. DECREES
:
Art. 1. It reformed the Art. 1 of Legislative Decree No. 41 dated May 4, 1948, published in the Official Gazette No. 99, Volume No. 144, dated May 12, 1948, by which established the May 15 of each year as "the Nurses Day" as follows:
"Art. 1. It is declared on May 15 of each year as "DAY OF PROFESSIONAL NURSING".
Art. 2. -This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
GIVEN IN THE BLUE ROOM OF THE LEGISLATIVE PALACE: San Salvador, on the twentieth day of January of the year two thousand and fifteen.
