THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That pursuant to Art. 30 of the Law of the Police Race, issued by Legislative Decree No. 773, dated July 18, 1996, published in the Journal
Official No. 144, Volume No. 332 of 7 August 1996 year, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, at the proposal of the Director General of the Police National Civil, has convened in an ordinary way the Inspectors of the first
to the fifth promotion of income of the Executive Level, to the courses of promotion in order to qualify to the category of Chief Inspector, which will be carried out during the the period of March to December 2015, having a quota for 118
aspirants, which may move to occupy a square of that denomination at the end of their corresponding course.
II. Art. 27 of the Law of the Police Race, in order to qualify for the ascent it is necessary to have a vacant square for need of the service; however, the Police Corporation currently has only 96 vacant places of Inspector Chief by the Law System of
Salaries, so it requires the incorporation of 22 new places of the name.
III.-That for the National Civil Police, it means a high strategic value support to have Executive Level staff as the Chief Inspectors, for the execution of the projects that this Institution is implementing and which are
related to public security protection at the national level; Article 131 of the Constitution of the Republic requires the reform of the existing Wage Law, voted by
Legislative Decree No. 867, dated November 20, 2014, published in the Official Journal of the European Communities. Officer N ° 229, Tomo N ° 405, of December 8 of the same year, specifically in the part corresponding to the Ramo of Justice and Security
Public, National Civil Police, in order to incorporate the 22 new places of Chief Inspector.

DECRETA:
Art. 1.-In the current Wage Law, Section I-SALARIES WITH APPLICATION TO THE GENERAL BUDGET OF THE STATE, in the part corresponding to the Ramo of Justice and Public Safety, Budget Unit 05 Public Safety, Work Line 02 Effectiveness Police, Code 2015 -2400-2-05-02-21-1,

Art. 2.-The 22 seats of Chief Inspector that are incorporated will be occupied from the month of
December 2015 and its cost for that month, amounting to $41,146, will be financed with the available allocations of the Rubro 51 Remuneration, of the Budget Unit 05 Public Safety, Work Line 02 Police Effectiveness, General Fund.
Art. 3.-This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
