DECREE NO 1022

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That by Legislative Decree No. 867, dated November 20, 2014, published in Official Journal No. 229, Volume No. 405 of December 8 of that

same year, the Salaries Law was voted on Fiscal Financial Year 2015.

II.-That dated September 8, 2011, the National School of Agriculture (ENA), ended its employment relationship with Mrs. Alicia Cristina Pérez de Hernández, who was assigned a place by the Wage Law System

as Head of Department, earning a monthly salary of $1,110.61 and was serving as Head of the Institutional Procurement and Procurement Unit and Head of the Interim Human Resources Department of the said

Institution; Mrs. Pérez de Hernández filed a Complaint of Amparo before the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice, which dated December 12, 2014, issued a judgment ordering its reinstatement in the position it held or in another of the same category and class.

III.-That by Agreement No. 6, dated February 27, 2015, the ENA Board of Directors approved the creation of the Gender Unit, which requires the

incorporation into the Wage Law System of a Department Chief's Square with a monthly salary of $1,186.87 and which will be located in the Budget Unit 02 Agricultural Education and Research, Line of

Work 01 Teaching Agriculture, being financed by the abolition of two places that are vacant in the same Budget Unit and Line of Work.

IV.-That by incorporating the position of Head of Department and appointing in the same to Mrs. Pérez " Hernandez will be complying with the sentence

issued by the Constitutional Court of the Supreme Court of Justice; therefore, it is necessary to reform the Law on Salaries in force, in accordance with the National School of Agriculture.

in use of its Constitutional powers and at the initiative of President of the Republic, through the Minister of Finance.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-In the Wage Law for the present fiscal year, from 1 January to 31 December 2015, Section II-WAGES WITH APPLICATION TO BUDGETS
