DECREE NO 17

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That on July 11, 2014, the Convention between the Government of the Republic of El Salvador and the Government of the Republic of Colombia on Matter

of the Prevention of Hurt, the Clandestine Excavation, was signed. Illicit appropriation, Transfer, Import and Export of Cultural Goods.

II. Instrument referred to in the previous recital has been approved by Executive Agreement No. 1489/2014 of 4 September 2014 and submitted to the Legislative Assembly for its ratification.

III. referred to does not contain any provisions contrary to the Constitution, being ratified.

BY TANTO,

in use of the authority established in Art. 131, Ordinary 7th of the Constitution in relation to

the Art. 168, Ordinary 4th of the same, and at the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Deputy Minister of External Relations, Integration and Economic Promotion in charge of the Dispatch.

DECRETA:

Art. 1.-The Convention between the Government of the Republic of El Salvador

and the Government of the Republic of Colombia on the Prevention of Hurt, the Clandestine Excavation, the appropriation, Transfer, Import and Illicit Export of Cultural Property, which consists of a preamble, fifteen articles and an annex to the Convention, signed on July 11, 2014; approved by the

Executive Body in the Foreign Relations, by Agreement No. 1489/2014, dated September 4, 2014.

Art. 2.-This Decree will enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
