LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY-REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR ____________________________________________________________________

DECREE NO 78 THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, WHEREAS:

I. That by Legislative Decree No. 867 dated November 20, 2014, published in the Official Journal No. 229, Volume No. 405 of 8 December of the same year, the Wage Law for Fiscal Financial Year 2015 was voted.

II. That by Legislative Decree No 73 dated 25 July 2012, published in Official Journal No 146, No 396 of 10 August of the same year, a first salary level was approved for 871 employees of the Agricultural and Livestock (MAG) and 143 employees of the

National School of Agriculture (ENA) and a second leveling for 571 employees of the National Center for Agricultural and Forestry Technology (CENTA), at a total cost of $1,557,447, as part of one of the agreements reached by the former Minister of Agriculture and Livestock with the workers ' unions of that Secretariat of State, of the CENTA and of the ENA.

III. That by Legislative Decree No. 640, dated March 27, 2014, published in the Journal

Official No. 70, Volume N ° 403, of April 11 of the same year, a second leveling was approved

salary for 840 employees of the Ramo de Agriculture and Livestock and 142 employees of the National Agricultural School and a third and final salary level for 565 employees of the National Center for Agricultural and Forestry Technology, at a total cost of $1,824,290.

IV. That the third salary levelling is required for the staff of the Salaries Law of that

Secretariat of State and of the ENA and involving 791 seats of the MAG and 141 places of the ENA, reaching a total of 932 places for both institutions, at a cost of $1,156,405; with which

will be in compliance with the objective of establishing a fair and equitable remuneration for all employees, in order to satisfy the institutional requirements arising from the execution of the Family Agriculture Plan (PAF), whose actions consolidate the strategies established within the Plan Five-year Development Year 2014-2019.

V. That in order to make the wage adjustment effective before, it is necessary to reform

the Wage Law 2015, in respect of the Agricultural and Livestock Ramp and the School

National Agriculture. BY TANTO,

in use of its Constitutional powers and at the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Minister of Finance. DECCRETA: Art. 1.-In the Wage Law in force from January 1 to December 31, 2015, Section I-SALARIES WITH APPLICATION TO THE GENERAL BUDGET OF THE STATE, in the part corresponding to the 4200
