DECREE NO 87
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinal 11th of the Constitution, it is the faculty of this Legislative Assembly to decree, in a general manner, benefits
and tax incentives or any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial or other activities.
II.-That integral education in sexuality is a commitment of the State to the Salvadoran youth that provides benefits for the prevention of various diseases that currently affect a high percentage of this sector
society.
III.-That comprehensive sexual education, is a strategy of prevention, reduction and
elimination of various problems affecting youth, whose importance lies in the construction of an inclusive culture, free of violence and with an approach to law, so it is appropriate to declare on 19 August of each year, "National Day of Integral Education in Sexuality".

in use of its Constitutional powers and on the initiative of the Deputy of the Legislature 2012-2015:
Ana Vilma Castro de Cabrera; and of the Deputies and the Deputies of the Legislature 2015 -2018: Lorena Guadalupe Peña Mendoza, Guillermo Francisco Mata Bennett, and Reynaldo Antonio Lopez Cardoza.
DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-Declare the nineteenth of August of each year "NATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION
INTEGRAL IN SEXUALITY".
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal
.
