DECREE N ° 99

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-The Embassy of the Republic of Korea, accredited in our country, in

solidarity with the Salvadoran people who have been affected by the continuous natural disasters such as the eruption of the volcano, floods by rains, and recently, the strong swell that is located in the coastal area of the

since June of this year, it has managed help for those affected.

II.-The Korean capital company, Youngone S.A. de C.V., intends to donate 5,000 garments, with the purpose of contributing to alleviate the needs of the population affected by these natural disasters.

III.-That according to the faculties that the Legislative Assembly grants to this Legislative Assembly, it is appropriate to exonerate the payment of taxes, including a bodegage, that can cause the introduction of the donation.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-The Embassy of the Republic of Korea, accredited in our country, should be exempted from the payment of import taxes, including bodegage, which may cause the introduction to the country of a

donation of 5,000 garments.

Exemption granted is without prejudice to the surveillance and control that the agencies will have to exercise

respective prosecutors.

Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
