DECREE NO 107
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That by Executive Decree No. 60 dated 28 September 2009, published in Official Journal No. 188, Volume N ° 385, of October 9 of that
same year and their respective extensions, the President of the Republic, in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinary 12 ° of Art. 168 of the Constitution of the Republic, " decree to have the Armed Forces, for the purpose of supporting
the National Civilian Police in operations to maintain internal peace, by means of joint patrols of prevention, deterrence, and apprehension of common crime. organized throughout the national territory; provision that
is valid until December 31, 2016.
II.-That in the fulfillment of the tasks of support to public security, several
members of the Armed Forces have passed away, generating mourning, pain and economic uncertainty in their families, so in an act of social justice, considers it appropriate to grant these families an economic aid that contributes to their family support and tranquility.
III.-By means of Executive Agreement No. 167, issued by the Ramo de Gobernación, dated August 24, 2004, published in the Official Journal No
176, Volume No. 364 of 23 September of the same year, were approved the Statutes of the Association for the Social Projection of the Armed Forces (APROSOFA), conferring on it the character of a legal person; likewise, by Agreement
Executive N ° 99, dated April 30, 2010, published in the Official Journal No 105, It took N ° 387 of June 7 of the same year, new Statutes of the Association were issued, establishing within its object and purpose of contributing to
the social, cultural, educational and other programs that contribute to the improvement the integral members of the Armed Forces and their families; defining that the patrimony of the same, will be constituted by the donations,
inheritances, legacies, contributions of natural and legal persons and foreign.
IV.-That with the purpose that the Ramo of the National Defense can have of the credit and the a corresponding budget structure that will allow him to transfer resources to the Armed Forces Social Projection Association,
to financially support the families of the members of the Armed Forces who have died directly or as a result of the fulfillment of the tasks of support to the National Civil Police, necessary to reform the Law
of the current budget, voted by Legislative Decree No. 866, dated 20 November 2014, published in Official Journal No 229, Volume N ° 405, of 8 December of that year, in Section III-Expenses, in what corresponds to the National Defense Ramo, Budget Unit 03 Support

to Other Entities, incorporating the Working Line 02 Social Projection Association Armed Force, with the amount of THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND 00/100
DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (US$ 300,000.00), which will be taken from the available allocations of that Ramo.

Art. 1. In the current Budget Law, Section -A "GENERAL BUDGET OF THE STATE", the following modifications are introduced:

Art. 2.-The resources worth US$ 300,000.00 corresponding to External Loans to finance the Working Line 02 Social Projection Association of the Armed Forces, will be taken from the
Same National Defense Ramo, the Unit Budget 02 Institutional Operational Management, Labor Line 01 Army Operations and Institutional Support, Rubro 54 Goods and Services Procurement.

The resources referenced by this Legislative Decree for US$ 300,000.00 shall be be applied to the Source of Resources 6 Central American Bank for Economic Integration (BCIE).
Art. 3.-This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
