DECREE NO 128

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That pursuant to Article 131, Ordinary 19 ° of the Constitution, corresponds to the Legislative Assembly, elect by roll call and public to the Magistrates

of the Supreme Court of Justice, being this one The private faculty of this Governing Body.

II.-That the second-degree elections, is a concretion of representative democracy, established in Art. 85, Inc. 1, of the Constitution, manifested in the democratic plurality and the representation of the people that exist within

of this Assembly.

III. Article 186, first paragraph of the Constitution, states that the

Magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice, will be renewed by third parties every three years, who once elected will last nine years in the position of Magistrates of the Supreme Court.

IV.-That for the above effects, compliance with the procedure established in the Article 98 et seq. of the Rules of Procedure of the Legislative Assembly, forming within the Political Commission a Subcommittee,

with the participation of all the Parliamentary Groups, which studied the files of each of the applicants referred by the National Judicature Council.

V.-That strict compliance with the provisions enshrined in Articles 131, 19º, 174, 176 and 186 of the Constitution has been strictly enforced.

THEREFORE,

exercise of your Constitutional faculties.

Elect Magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice for the period beginning September 24, 2015, and ends on September 23, 2024, to the following lawyers:
