DECREE NO 183

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinary 11 ° of the Constitution, it is the faculty of this Legislative Assembly to decree, in a general manner, benefits

and tax incentives or any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial or other activities.

II.-There is a lot of concern about the lack of awareness within society on the issue of waste reduction, which in terms of the final disposal of garbage, lays bare that environmental

co-responsibility of the entire society in the reduction of waste is a priority topic.

III.-That in order to generate a positive impact in the environmental education programs that are developed in the Executive Body, schools, churches, community meetings and private enterprise among others, which lead to the breaking of the generation cycle, collection and final disposal of garbage, it is sourced

to declare on the 14th of October of each year, as "NATIONAL DAY FOR REDUCTION OF WASTE".

in use of its Constitutional and initiative faculties Member of the Legislature 2012-2015

Irma Lourdes Palacios Vasquez; and the Members of the Legislature 2015 -2018: Sonia Margarita Rodríguez Siguenza and Zoila Beatriz Quijada Solis.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-Declare on the 14th of October of each year, as "NATIONAL DAY BY THE

REDUCTION OF WASTE".

Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal
