DECREE NO 203
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That by Legislative Decree No. 263, dated March 23, 1998, published in Official Journal No. 64, Volume No. 339 of April 02, 1998,
approved the "Special Law to Facilitate the Cancellation of Deures". Agrarian and Agrarian '.
II.-That by means of Legislative Decree No. 874 dated 27 November 2014, published in the Official Journal No 235, Tomo 405 dated December 16, 2014, Decree No. 263 was reformed, extending its effects until 31 of
December 2015.
III.-That the aforementioned Law since its approval is aimed among others to contribute
to the reactivation of the agricultural sector through the readjustment of the credits to their current value and the establishment of the mechanisms
Commission is also in favour of the Commission's decision to grant aid to the European Investment Bank in the form of a financial instrument for the financing of the European Investment Bank. use of the benefits that this Decree
allows them.
V.-That in order to comply with the objectives of this Decree, it becomes
indispensable to be extended its effects by the deadline of one year, that is, from January 01, 2016 until December 31, 2016.

DECRETA the following:
REFORM OF THE SPECIAL LAW TO FACILITATE THE CANCELLATION OF AGRARIAN AND AGRICULTURAL DEBTS, ASI:
Article 1.-Reform the first indent of the Article 4, as follows:
Article 4 (1).-System Institutions Financial must subscribe to the institutions
creditors mentioned in this Law, an agreement, that allows to grant to the beneficiaries that request it, of those mentioned in article 2 of the same, and that to the date of validity they have not cancelled due, a loan at 6% annual interest to a term of up to 12 years, within which will be
comprised of a grace period of 2 years, in which there will be no payment of capital and interest of any kind. These loans must be processed and formalized within the period ending on the thirtieth day of December 2016, with the presentation of any
demand for the commencement of natural trials remaining suspended during this period. commercial or civil executive, which implies, as well as, those who are initiated and are at any stage of the civil or commercial executive judicial process, against such debtors.
Article 2.-This Decree shall enter into Eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
