DECREE N ° 211

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That Art. 101 of the Constitution states that the State shall promote economic and social development, by increasing production and productivity

and shall also promote the various sectors

II.-That by means of Legislative Decree No. 456 of 31 October 2007,

published in Official Journal No. 235, Volume No. 377 of December 17, 2007, the Decree of Restriction of Exports of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Waste and Waste was issued.

III.-The theft of telephone and power cables It has reflected a considerable decrease from the validity of the Decree of Restriction of

Exports of Waste and Ferrous Waste and Not Ferrous.

IV.-That by Legislative Decree No. 598, of December 18 2013, the validity of Legislative Decree No 456 was extended until December 31, 2014.

V.-That by Legislative Decree No. 901 of 12 December 2014, the validity of Legislative Decree No 456, published in Official Journal No 235, was extended,

Volume N ° 377 of 17 December 2007 until 31 December 2007 2015, which implies that the Decree in mention is next to be defeated.

VI.-The reduction in the theft of electricity and telephone power distribution cables, from the time of the aforementioned Decrees, has become evident. Therefore, a new extension is required in order to continue

affecting the reduction of metal theft Ferrous and non-ferrous. FOR TANTO,

in use of its Constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputies Ana Vilma Albanez de Escobar, Damian Alegria, José Antonio Almendariz Rivas, Rodrigo Avila Avilés, Rene Gustavo Escalante Zelaya, Ricardo Ernesto Godoy Penate, Calixto Mejía Hernández, Mario Antonio Ponce López, Francisco

José Rivera Chacón, Guadalupe Antonio Vásquez Martínez, John Tennant Wright Sol.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-Extended to 31 December 2017, as laid down in Legislative Decree No 456 of 31 October 2007, published in Official Journal No 235, Volume N ° 377 of 17 December

Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
