DECREE NO 214
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That the existing delimitation between the Municipalities comprising the
Department of Peace, does not conform to the present development of the technology in the field of registration and territorial measurement; nor to the
II.-What with the current circumstances of social and economic development of the country.
The registration technology and the photogrammetric models currently available by the National Records Center; it is possible to perform a
delimitation and precise demarcation of these limits.
III. The process of dialogue between the municipalities
involved with the assistance of the National Records Center and the Geographic Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way to the elaboration and signature of the Municipal Limit Act SAN EMIGDIO-SAN MIGUEL TEPEZONTES with reference N ° 0808-0814, which is taken as the basis for the contents of the
this Decree and annexed as an integral part of it.
IV.-That according to Art. 131 Ordinary 5 ° of the Constitution it is the competence of
this Authority of the State to decree, to interpret authentically, to reform and repeal secondary laws.

in use of its Constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputies Guadalupe Antonio Vásquez Martínez, Lucia del Carmen Ayala de León, Audelia Guadalupe López de Kleutgens and the former Deputies Manuel Vicente Menjívar, Mario Eduardo Brave Ortiz, Carlos Cortez Hernandez, Nery Arely
Diaz Aguilar, Mario Alberto Tenorio Guerrero, Santos Guevara Ramos, Karla Gisela Abrego and Mildred Guadalupe Machado.
DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-It is established as a limit between the Municipalities of San Emigdio and San Miguel Tepezontes,
both of the Department of Peace, the following:
The line of the municipal limit is made up of four commutes. The first trip, formed
by a single stretch, determined by two points, numbered one to two, imaginary line on Ilopango Lake Water Mirror; the second path formed by a single stretch, determined by two points, numbered from two to three, by natural hydrographic element, the third journey, consisting of two sections determined by three points, numbered from three to five, by line of plots, the fourth one

journey, formed by a single tranche, determined by two points, numbered five to six, by natural hydrographic element.
Starting point. It is located in the center of the Water Mirror of the Lake of Ilopango, specifically where the municipalities that have riverbanks converge in the lake. Place where you
locates the number one point, at the same time is a common point for the Municipalities of San Pedro Perulapan, Cojutepeque and Candelaria, belonging to the Department of Cuscatlán, San Emigdio, San Miguel Tepezontes and San Francisco Chinameca, belonging to the Department of La Paz, Santiago
Texacuangos, Ilopango and San Martín, belonging to the Department of San Salvador. Its coordinates are equal length, four hundred and ninety-six thousand zero meters; latitude equal, two hundred and eighty-three thousand point zero meters.
Journey one
Single Tramo, from point number one to point number two. With course North sixty degrees, fifty-three minutes, fifty-three point fifty-nine seconds West, in an imaginary straight line, on the surface of the Water Mirror of Lake Ilopango, to intercept the central axis
of the the mouth of the Quebrada El Guaje, where the number two point is located, with an approximate distance of four thousand and nineteen point sixty meters. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and ninety-nine thousand five hundred and ninety-nine point fifty-three meters; equal latitude, two hundred and eighty thousand nine hundred and ninety-six point thirty-eight meters. Its adjoining
are, for the Municipality of San Emigdio, a portion of the Water Mirror of the Lake of Llopango; for the Municipality of San Miguel Tepezontes, another similar portion of the lake.
Journey two
Single Tramo, from the point number two to point number three. With a southeast direction, in a winding line,
by the central axis of the Quebrada El Guaje, upstream, to intercept the Norponiente corner of property of the plot four hundred and sixty-eight, from the sector zero eight zero eight R zero one, place where the point number three is located, with an approximate distance of four hundred and seventy-seven point
zero a meter. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and ninety-nine thousand eight hundred and twenty-one point seventy-seven meters; equal latitude, two hundred and eighty thousand six hundred twenty-five-thirty-three meters. With a southeastern course, in a broken line, by plot lines, crossing the neighborhood street of the Canton San Bartolo leads to the Canton Concepción Lourdes, to intercept the west lindero of the plot seventy-three, of the sector zero eight
fourteen R zero two, where the point number four is located, with a distance of approximately one thousand six hundred and nineteen point eighty-five meters. Its coordinates are the same length, five hundred thousand four hundred and eighty-six point zero a meter; latitude equal, two hundred and seventy-nine thousand four hundred ten fifties and three meters. Its adjoining are, the Municipality of San Emigdio,

Tramo two, from point number four to point number five. With a southeastern course, in a broken line, by plot lines, to intercept the central axis of the Quebrada El Cedro or El Amate,
which is located under the Panoramic Highway, which of the People of San Miguel Tepezontes leads to the People of San Emigdio, specifically in the site known as La Bigona or El Aguacate, where the number five is located, with an approximate distance of seven hundred and seventy-nine point thirty and one

Single Tramo, from point number five to point number six. With a southeast direction, in a sinuous line, by the central axis of the Quebrada El Cedro or El Amate, downstream, until its confluence on the
Críquada El Crab or El Tempisque, where the number six point is located, with a distance of approximately from one thousand nine hundred and forty-two point sixty-seven meters. Its coordinates are equal length, five hundred two thousand three hundred and forty-seven point forty-four meters; equal latitude,
two hundred and seventy-eight thousand and four-point forty-four meters.
