DECREE NO 252

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I-That the Government of the French Republic approved to grant to the Republic of El Salvador, a financing to Reenable the Potabilizing Plant Las Pavas,

that supplies the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador, for which the Government of the Republic of El Salvador, will negotiate a loan agreement with Natixis (Directorate of Institutional Activities) of the Government of the French Republic.

II-That in the framework of the provisions of the previous recital, the Executive Body in the Ramo of Finance, prior to the granting of the Agreement of Plenos

Powers N ° 2083/2015, dated November 20, 2015, signed on December 7, 2015 with the Government of the French Republic, in French and Spanish languages, a Financial Protocol that contemplates the offering of contributions

of the Government of France, in the amount of up to FIFTY-THREE MILLION EUROS (€ 53,000,000.00), for fund the "Rehabilitation Project of the Poteable Water Treatment Plant of Las Pavas and its Driving Network", which will be executed by the National Administration of

Aqueducts and Sewers.

III-That the Protocol Financial referred to in the previous recital,

does not contain provisions contrary to the Constitution of the Republic, being originating its Ratification.

BY TANTO,

in use of its powers established in the Art. 131, Ordinary 7th of the Constitution of the Republic

and at the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Minister of Finance.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-ratify the Financial Protocol signed on 7 December 2015, in French and Spanish languages, by the Representative of the Government of the French Republic and by the Government of the Republic

of El Salvador, through the Minister of the Treasury, which consists of 11 articles and an annex.

Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
