DECREE NO 256

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That the existing delimitation between the Municipalities that comprise the Department of San Salvador does not conform to the present development of the

technology in registration and of territorial measurement; nor the current circumstances of social and economic development of the country.

II. The registration technology and the photogrammetric models currently available by the National Records Center; it is possible to establish a precise delimitation and demarcation of these limits.

III. dialogue between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Center of Records and the Institute

Geographic and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way to the elaboration and signature of the Act of Municipal Limit GUAZAPA- TONACATEPEQUE with reference No. 0606-0618, which is taken as the basis for the content of the present Decree and annexed as an integral part of it.

IV.-That the Municipal Code in its Art. 23 establishes that it is the faculty of the Legislative Assembly to decree the definition of territorial limits.

V.-That according to Art. 131 Ordinal 5 ° of the Constitution is the competence of this First State Body to Decretar, to interpret authentically, to reform

and to repeal secondary laws.

BY TANTO,

in use of its Constitutional faculties and on the initiative of the Deputies Mario Antonio Ponce Lopez, Jesus Grande, and former Deputies Cesar Humberto Garcia Aguilera, Noel Abilio Bonilla Bonilla,

Isidro Antonio Caballero Caballero, Jose Ernesto Castellanos Campos, Roberto Eduardo Castillo Batlle, Nicolas Garcia Alfaro, Vilma Celina Garcia de Monterrosa, Gaspar Armando Portillo Benitez, Marco Tulio Mejia Palma and Miguel Angel Navarrete Navarrete.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-It is established as Limit between the Municipalities of Guazapa and Tonacatepeque both of the Department of San Salvador, the following:

The stroke of the limit is formed by a single path, determined by two sections, consisting of three points, numbered one to three, by plot lines.

Trifinium starting point. It is defined in the interception of the extension of the Northern line of

the plot three hundred thirty, from the zero sector six zero six R zero nine, with the axis North Troncal Highway (CA-4), in the section that communicates the City of Apopa, with that of Tonacatepeque, place

where the number one point is located, at the same time trifinium for the Municipalities of Guazapa, Tonacatepeque and Apopa, all belonging to the Department of San Salvador. Its coordinates are the same length, four hundred and eighty-three thousand four hundred and nineteen-point seventy-three meters;

equal latitude, three hundred and one thousand two hundred and thirty-five point sixty-five meters. Their adjoining ones are, for the Municipality of Guazapa, plots five hundred and seventeen and five hundred sixteen, both from the field zero six zero six R zero nine; for the Municipality of Tonacatepeque, plot three hundred thirty, of the field

zero six Zero six R zero nine and for the Municipality of Apopa, plot two hundred and twenty, zero sector six zero two R zero two.

Single Way

Stretch one, from point number one to the number two point. With a northeast direction, in a broken line,

for line of plots, to intercept the central axis of the neighborhood street that of the Colonia Hacienda San José Arrazola, leads to the Caserio Los Almendros, where the number two point is located, with a distance of approximately three hundred and forty-zero eight meters. Its coordinates are Length

three hundred sixty and four, three hundred and twenty-nine, all from the zero sector six zero six R zero nine.

Tramo two, from point number two to point number three. With a northeast direction, in a broken line,

by plot lines, to intercept the central axis of the Chamulapa River, where the number three point is located, with an approximate distance of one thousand two hundred and eighty-nine meters. Its coordinates are equal length, four hundred and eighty-four thousand six hundred and twenty-seven zero point eight

meters; latitude equal, three hundred two thousand and seventy five point thirty-two meters. Its adjoining are, for the Municipality of Guazapa, plots three hundred six, three hundred two and three hundred and twenty-six, all of the sector zero six zero six R zero nine; for the Municipality of Tonacatepeque, plot three hundred five

and Three hundred and twenty-three, both zero-sector six zero-six R zero nine.

Trifinium point of arrival. The point of arrival will be the one described as number three, which

at the same time is trifinium point for the Municipalities of San Jose Guayabal, belonging to the Department of Cuscatlán, Tonacatepeque and Guazapa, both of the Department of San Salvador. Its adjoining are, for the Municipality of San José Guayabal, plot one hundred and fifty, of the field zero six zero six R ten;

for the Municipality of Tonacatepeque, plot three hundred and twenty-three, of the field zero six zero six R zero nine and for the Municipality of Guazapa, plot three hundred and twenty-six, of the sector zero six zero six R zero nine.

Art. 2.-This Decree will enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
