DECREE NO 302
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinal 11th of the Constitution, it is the faculty of this Legislative Assembly to decree, in general, benefits and tax incentives or any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other activities.
II. professionals, specialists, experts, technicians and collaborators of the forensic area in our country, are men and women who play a key role in the most difficult moments of the Salvadoran families, giving immediate response to the demands of attention to the fatal victims of unfortunate cases of violence, as well as the deaths that occur throughout the country for various causes, at any time of the day or in the evenings, regardless of whether they are labor or festive dates, which requires a high degree of readiness, responsibility and commitment.
III. several years, there has been an increase in the work load of the technicians and professionals who are dedicated to this work, among which are specialists in forensic medicine, forensic toxicology, forensic psychology, social work Forensics, Forensic Psychiatry, Clinical Laboratory, Forensic Anthropology, Forensic Dentistry, Forensic Genetics, Forensic Serology, Radiology, Histopathology, as well as all medical professions and collaborators that enable the Institute of Medicine Legal and to the Forensic Sciences in our country, to be authentic auxiliaries of justice, becoming heroes and heroines who work twenty-four hours a day, three hundred and sixty-five days of the year.
IV.-That by reason of the above it is important to recognize the work of sacrifice and delivery that show day by day the professionals, specialists, experts, technicians and collaborators who dedicate themselves to this noble branch of the medical sciences, declaring within the national civic calendar, the "National Day of the Forense".

DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-Declare the eighteen of March of each year, "Day of the Salvadoran Forensic Perito", in recognition of the important work that with sacrifice and dedication they carry out day by day the professionals, specialists, experts, technicians and collaborators who know dedicate to this noble branch of medical sciences.
Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
