DECREE NO 323
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That Article 1 of the Constitution of the Republic recognizes the human person as the origin and the end of all activity of the State, which is organized for
attainment of justice, legal certainty and common good, therefore it is the obligation of the State to assure the inhabitants of the Republic, the enjoyment of freedom, health, culture, economic well-being and social justice.
II.-That the FRIEND Foundation is a public, apolitical, non-profit, or religious entity whose aims are aimed at rescuing children and young people from
street, to foster culture so that they are useful people to society.
III.-That for the achievement of their objectives, they have scheduled presentations of the Circo of
the Segovia Brothers of Guatemala, in the months of April to June 2016 in different cities of the country.
IV.-That according to the faculties of this Legislative Assembly, is
exonerate the payment of taxes, including the municipal ones, that can cause the presentations of the mentioned circus.
BY TANTO,
in use of its Constitutional faculties and on the initiative of the Diputado Abilio Orestes Rodríguez
Menjivar.
DECRETA:
Art. 1.-To pay the AMIGO Foundation, of the payment of taxes, including the municipal ones, that can cause the presentations in the country of the circus of the Segovia Brothers of Guatemala, in the
period from the month of April to the month of June 2016.
The exemption granted is without prejudice to the supervision and control that the agencies will have to exercise
respective prosecutors; likewise the representatives of the aforementioned Foundation, must present to this Assembly within 45 days after the event, a properly audited report on the income earned and the distribution of the same.
Art. 2.-This Decree will enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
