DECREE NO 375
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinary 11 ° of the Constitution, it is the faculty of this Legislative Assembly to decree, in a general manner, benefits and tax incentives or of any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other activities.
II. National Association of Retired Teachers of El Salvador "ANMJES" acquired its legal status on October 12, 2009, and its statutes are approved by Agreement No. 264 of the Ministry of Government and published in the Official Journal No. 19, Tomo N ° 386, dated Thursday, January 28, 2010.
III.-That such association is born in order to "Velar for the rights and interests of its associates", as it appears from Art. 1 of its statutes, emphasizing that to date ANMJES to eight Congresses or General Assemblies, being the The last one was held on December 5, 2015 in the City of Chinameca.
IV.-That the Municipal Council of Santa Tecla, at that time presided by Mr. Oscar Samuel Ortiz, at the request of the Board of Directors of ANMJES, decreed in that Municipality as the Day of the Master and the retired teacher, the last Friday of the month of June each year; however, with the The purpose of this date is to be decreed throughout the country and added to our civic calendar, it is necessary for this Honorable Legislative Assembly to declare the last Friday of the month of June each year as "Day of the retired Master and Teacher".

DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-Declare the last Friday of the month of June of each year, " Day of the Master and Retired Teacher".
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
