DECREE N ° 392
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinary 22 ° of the Constitution of the Republic, it is the faculty of this State Body, to grant to persons or
populations, titles, honorary distinctions and gratifications, compatible with the form of government established, for relevant services provided to the Homeland.
II.-That article 6, literal a) of the Law of Honorific Distances, Gratitude and Titles, establishes that the honorary distinctions of "Son or Daughter of Merit of El Salvador" constitute a very high distinction and grant to the people
Salvadoran people who dedicate themselves or have dedicated themselves to the practice of humanitarian and altruistic activities, or for their transcendental contributions or services to human knowledge, in such a way that this contribution represents a benefit
national, regional or universal.
III.-That citizen Pedro Fausto Arieta Vega, known by Pedro Arieta, is a prominent professional, lawyer and notary, university professor and referee
international commercial, who has obtained his academic training in various centers of studies, both nationally and The International School of Law and Social
of the University of
Salvador; School of Law at New York University, and Law Center, Georgetown University, Washington D.C., both in the United States. United States of America; INCAE in Nicaragua and Costa Rica; University of Salamanca in Spain; Universityof the Americas in Chile; Universidad de Las Américas in Ecuador; and Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in Spain.
IV.-That citizen Pedro Fausto Arieta Vega has provided important contributions to the country in the social area, Close associate of Father Achilles Gugole at the "San Antonio Children's Village" Foundation of San Miguel, founder of

V.- It is appropriate to grant to the citizen Pedro Fausto Arieta Vega, the Honorific Distinction of "SON MERITISIMO DE EL SALVADOR",
for his invaluable contribution to the Salvadoran population in the professional and social field.

DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-To declare the citizen Pedro Fausto Arieta Vega, known by Pedro Arieta, "HIJO
MERITISIMO DE EL SALVADOR", for his invaluable contribution to the Salvadoran population in the professional and social field.
Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
