The full text of the ordonnance on flexible pathways in higher education for adults
Pursuant to section 11, paragraph 2, article 12, paragraph 4, article 13, paragraph 4, article 14, paragraph 4, article 15, paragraphs 5 and 6, article 17, paragraph 5, article 19, paragraph 1, no. 2, section 30, paragraph 2, and section 32 (1) (8). 2, of the law on vocational education and higher education (further education system) for adults, see. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 881 of 8. August 2011, fixed: Chapter 1 Scope § 1. The notice includes higher adult education (college education), diploma and master's degree programmes, which are implemented as flexible course. A flexible course is composed of elements from existing programmes and concludes with a final project. The flexible course is determined in a personal training plan.
Chapter 2 section 2 of the educational institutions. A flexible course can be organised by the educational institutions within the Ministry for Research, Innovation and higher education area, providing further education for adults on the same level as the flexible pathways and in the output of the project field.
Chapter 3 Designation section 3. Tertiary adult education completed flexible part-time gives the right to use the name attached to the tertiary adult education followed by an indication of the professional area in parentheses.
(2). A diploma completed flexible part-time gives the right to use the name attached to the diploma programme followed by an indication of the professional training area in parentheses.
(3). A master's degree completed flexible part-time gives the right to use the name attached to the master's degree programme followed by an indication of the professional training area in parentheses.
Chapter 4 entry requirements section 4. Access to higher education for adults as flexible course is conditional upon the applicant, before drawing up a personal training plan, see. § 5, meet the entry requirements for that higher education for adults.
Chapter 5 education plan section 5. The personal training plan shall be determined by the competent institution, within the meaning of education. § 2. The plan shall be drawn up in cooperation with and with the prior guidance of the applicant on the basis of the applicant's work experience, life experience and prior training. The educational institution responsible shall ensure that the plan meets the requirements of section 8, paragraph 2.
(2). The education plan should describe the applicant's overall educational courses, including the final project. The education plan specifies the programme elements that the applicant must implement in order to be able to complete the required training. The plan should include: 1) the applicant's access basis, see. § 4.
2 professional profile, including vocational Education) area and level of competence, without prejudice to article. § 8, paragraph 2.
3) composition of the educational elements involved in the process, with indication of ECTS credits, including programme elements that have already been implemented.
4) indication, at which institution elements be implemented or are implemented.
5) The order in which the educational elements to be implemented, and an indicative timetable for this, see. § 8.
(3). The educational institution responsible should ensure that the applicant is given the opportunity to complete all the educational elements of the education plan, see. However, section 6, paragraph 2. If the course includes elements to be implemented at other institutions, the educational institution responsible shall take the necessary agreements with these institutions.
§ 6. The education plan must be signed by both the educational institution and the applicant responsible. The educational institution responsible gives a copy of the plan to the applicant and to any other institutions, where parts of the process must be carried out.
(2). The educational institution may, at the request of the responsible student permit derogation from the education plan, including in cases where a training element is changed significantly or is no longer offered.
§ 7. If the training is not completed within 6 years, lapse the education plan. The time is counted from the education plan's signature.
Chapter 6 programme elements section 8. Training elements in a flexible course as well as the final project, see. § 9, must together have an extent corresponding to 60 ECTS credits, of which 1) at least 30 ECTS credits must be obtained by immersion in a professional area, and 2) at least 10 ECTS credits in higher adult education, at least 15 ECTS-points by a diploma or at least 12 ECTS credits in a master's degree must be obtained by a final project within the technical area, see. section 5, paragraph 2, no. 2. the provisions of paragraph 2. Level, the order and composition of the individual programme elements, together with the final graduation project ensure a clear academic profile, a level of competence equivalent to respectively higher adult education, diploma and masters level, an inner coherence and a professional progression in that training.
(3). The individual programme elements to be implemented by the educational institution responsible, who prepared training plan, see. section 5, paragraph 1, or by other institutions, see. section 18 of the Act on vocational basic education and higher education (further education system) for adults.
Chapter 7 graduation project § 9. Training ends with an individual, in writing graduation project. The project will link the individual programme elements.
(2). The subject of the final project must be within the professional training area, see. section 5, paragraph 2, no. 2, and must be approved by the educational institution responsible before the start of the project.
(3). The final project carried out by the institution that has prepared training plan.
(4). The institution shall appoint a supervisor for the student in relation to the final project.
§ 10. The final project is assessed by an oral examination. Given an overall grade for the written final project and the oral performance.
(2). The test shall be organised in accordance with the same guidelines as for the output of the Project Professional area, and provides an individual assessment.
§ 11. For samples and including evaluation of the final project applies the rules laid down in the Ordinance on tests and exams in vocational higher education.
§ 12. The National Board for higher education shall decide whether to grant a derogation from this Ordinance, when it is justified by special circumstances, except in the cases referred to in § 6 (2).
Chapter 8 Other rules § 13. Agency for higher education may allow derogations of the notice as part of the trials. At the same time lays down the duration of the experiment and the reporting form.
§ 14. The educational institution's decision under this Ordinance may be brought before the Agency for higher education, when the complaint relates to legal questions. The complaint shall be submitted to the educational institution responsible, which shall deliver its opinion that the complainant shall be given the opportunity to comment within a period of not less than 1 week. The institution shall forward the complaint to the Agency attached to the opinion and the complainant's comments to do so.
(2). The deadline for filing a complaint in accordance with paragraph 1 is 2 weeks from the day the decision is communicated to the complainant.
Chapter 9 entry into force of section 15. The notice shall enter into force on 5 March. December 2013.
§ 16. Executive Order No. 1206 by 15. December 2000 on the flexible pathways in higher education for adults is repealed.
