»Bilag 3

Active substances that the EU Commission has decided to record Annex 1, 1 A and 1 B for the biocidal Directive

Generally for all products:

In the treatment of an application for product approval must be assessed whether there are populations that may be exposed to the product, as well as application and exposure scenarios that have not received a representative treatment in the risk assessment at Community level.

If this is the case, an assessment of the scenarios relevant to the active substance and product.

The application must demonstrate that the risk can be limited to an acceptable level and appropriate measures are taken or notified special terms to limit the identified risks.

If a product contains more than an active substance, the deadline for accordance with Article 16(3) shall be set to the current substances in the product;

Approval of products for disinfection by smoking is provided on the following conditions:
1) The products may only be sold to and used by professionals who are specially trained in the use of them.
2) Secure work procedures for disinfection and ventilation for personnel and others present.
3) The products may only be used with appropriate personal protective equipment, including, to relevant extent, air-conditioned respiratory protection and airtight clothing.
4) Access to the disinfected area must be banned until the air concentration has reached a level that is safe for personnel and present.
5) Until exposure under and after ventilation is brought under a level that is safe for personnel and the present area must be locked and monitored.
6) Before disinfecting, all foods and all other porous materials that could absorb the active substance, except the tree to be treated, either removed from the area or protected from absorption. The area to desinficeres must be ensured against unsustainable ignition.
