§ 1

In executive order No. 775 by 28. June 2011 on feed and feed business operators, as amended by Decree No. 908 by 5. September 2012, is amended as follows: 1. Annex 6 is replaced by the text in annex 1 to this notice.

section 2 of the Ordinance shall enter into force on 9 November. November 2012.

Category designations of feed materials in compound feedingstuffs for animals not used for food production, except for fur animals

(Section 12, paragraph 2)

By labelling with the content of the feed materials in compound feedingstuffs for animals not used for food production, except fur-bearing animals, can feed products name is replaced by the name of the category to which the feed materials belongs to. The conditions are that there will not be used in categories other than listed below.

Meat and animal by-products





All suffers of slaughtered, warm-blooded land animals, fresh or preserved by appropriate treatment as well as all products and by-products from processing of carcasses or parts of carcasses of warm-blooded land animals

Milk and milk products





All dairy products, fresh or preserved by appropriate treatment, as well as the by-products of their processing







3.





Eggs and egg products





All egg products, fresh or preserved by appropriate treatment, as well as the by-products of their processing







4.





Oil and fats





All animal and vegetable oils and fats







5.





Yeast





All yeast, where the yeast cells are killed and dried







6.





Fish and fish products





Fish and parts of fish, fresh or preserved by appropriate treatment, as well as the by-products of their processing







7.





Grain





All cereals and cereal products, irrespective of their form of presentation as well as products obtained from the processing of cereal species starchy kernels

Vegetables





All vegetables and legumes, fresh or preserved by appropriate treatment

Vegetable by-products





The by-products obtained from processing of plant products, especially grains, vegetables, legumes and oil seeds

Vegetable protein extract





All vegetable products containing the protein has been concentrated along a suitable treatment and may have been structured so that content is at least 50% crude protein in the dry matter

All inorganic substances may be included in feed

All kinds of fruit, fresh or preserved by appropriate treatment
