Publication of the amendment to the monitoring and control of BSE in bovine animals

(Exemption to slaughterhouses for BSE-examination of ordinary carcases of origin in certain countries, etc.)

§ 1

Notice no. 499 of 26. May 2011 on the monitoring and control of BSE in bovine animals, as amended by Notice No 1. 709 of 27. June 2011, the following changes are made :

1. Section 6 (2). 1, no. 1 (a) revoked.

2. Section 6 (2). 2, ITREAS :

" Stop. 2. The slaughterhouse must ensure that the brain stem from bovine animals slaughtered for human consumption shall be taken and submitted for examination for BSE in accordance with the rules laid down in paragraph 1. 1. The bovine animals are divided into one of the following categories :

1) Ordinary slaughter.

2) Puding.

3) AM-expensive.

4) OT animal. "

3. I § 8 (3) 4 the following section 15 (2) shall be inserted after ' 2 and `.

4. The following paragraph 23 is inserted after paragraph 23 2 as new No :

' 3) Analyses performed pursuant to section 6 (2). Two and three. "

Number 3-5 becomes the second paragraph. 4-6.

§ 2

The announcement shall enter into force on 1. January 2013.
