Publication of grants for the conservation of livestock genetic resources for 2012

In accordance with section 24 and section 66 (3), 1 in Law No 432 of 9. In June 2004 on the range of animals shall be determined :

Chapter 1

Conventing of the Bekendom Decision

§ 1. In the framework of the annual appropriation laws, the Office of Nature may decide on the grant of grants to :

1) conservation of old Danish livestock breeds (animal supplements), cf. Chapter 2, and

2) breeding and racial associations which contribute to the conservation of old Danish livestock breeds, in accordance with the requirements of the term " breezy ". Chapter 3.

Chapter 2

Animal supplements

§ 2. Animal supplements shall be granted to private individuals or public institutions which are owners of conservation worthy animals of old Danish livestock breeds, and which, by the Conservation of Nature, may be accepted as part of the coordinated breeding work for the conservation of it ; the species concerned. It is a prerequisite for the beneficiary of a five-year cooperation agreement with the GenResource Committee.

Paragraph 2. Deposits shall be based on the proof of the deposition of the animals themselves and its offspring, and grants to animals which are parents of the renal have been born in the previous year.

Paragraph 3. The Office of the Natural Acquisitions shall determine which livestock breeds are deemed to be conservation and which are eligible for animal benefit in accordance with the requirements of the animal subsidy. Section 5 (5). 4.

§ 3. Animal supplements are at the highest rate of 3,000 kroner. per animal unit (DE) annually.

Paragraph 2. The Office of the Natural Safety Agency shall lay down the detailed guidelines on the definition of an animal unit (DE).

§ 4. The Service Management Board shall lay down conditions for the grant of animal supplements and the size of the grant.

Paragraph 2. Deposits shall be paid once a year.

Paragraph 3. The Management Board shall lay down the detailed guidelines for the payment of animal supplements, cf. Section 5 (5). 4.

§ 5. Applications for animal supplements shall be submitted in accordance with section 2 to the Benefit Board of Natural Acquisitional Services. An application schema is being used that can be found on the stylepage website, www.naturerhverv.dk.

Paragraph 2. The application must be received by the 21. May 2012.

Paragraph 3. The Office of the Natural Business Authority shall lay down the other guidelines for the application procedure.

Paragraph 4. Information on the livestock breeds considered to be conservation and which of those eligible for animal supplements, cf. Section 2 (2). 3, and the detailed guidelines for the application procedure and payment, cf. Section 4 (4). 3 and paragraph 1. 3, in this provision, are shown in the instructions for the application form.

Chapter 3

Deposits for breeding and racial associations

§ 6. The Wildlife Board may grant subsidies to breeding and racial associations which contribute to the conservation of old Danish livestock breeds.

Paragraph 2. Avl and racial associations are the designation of associations which are interested in one or more races, which are defined by a race description. The description of the species shall determine the criteria for which an animal must be met in order to be counted on to the species concerned (s).

§ 7. The grant referred to in section 6 shall be awarded as an annual one-time allowance for the holding of sittings and costs for the establishment of electronic tribal book and so on.

§ 8. The amount of the subsidy under section 6 requires a prior agreement of cooperation with the Committee of the Committee on the Committee on Recovery, and subsequent reporting with associated documentation of the costs incurred.

Paragraph 2. A grant shall not be granted for the purposes of its own work or the normal operating costs of the associations.

Paragraph 3. The one in paragraph 1. 1 the cooperation agreement referred to may include agreements on cooperation on breeding planning, breeding objectives, breeding, cryopreservation, breeding and breeding, and agreements relating to the breeding of animals and so on.

§ 9. The Benefit Board shall determine the amount of the subsidy provided for in section 6.

Paragraph 2. In cases where there are several different race associations in the areas where there are several race associations, the National Parties may provide that the subsidy is shared between the respective associations.

Paragraph 3. Deposits shall be paid once a year.

Chapter 4

Common provisions

§ 11. The Office of the Natural Business Authority may decide that an undertaking to grant grants in full or in part should be withdrawn and that the payment of the subsidy must be repaid if :

1) grants no longer satisfies the conditions for the granting of grants,

2) the grant consignon has given false or misleading information or information of importance for the grant of the subsidy ; or

3) the preconditions for the grant of subsidies fall away or substantially change.

Paragraph 2. The applicant shall be obliged to notify the Board of the Management Board on the condition that may lead to the loss of the grant.

§ 12. The Office of Natural Acquisitions may decide that grants in full or in part shall be repaid with the interest calculated from the advance payment of the rate of repayment at the rate of interest fixed under the interest rate in section 5 of the interest rate.

§ 13. The announcement shall enter into force on 2. April 2012.

Paragraph 2. Publication no. 1177 by 8. In December 2005 on subsidies for the conservation of livestock genetic resources are hereby repealed. However, the provisions shall apply to applications submitted before the 2. April 2012.

§ 14. The announcement does not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
