The full text of the Decree on subsidies for conservation of farm animal genetic resources for 2012

Under section 24 and section 66 (1) of law No. 432 of 9. June 2004 on the keeping of animals shall be fixed: Chapter 1 scope § 1 of the Executive order. Danish agrifish agency may within the framework of the annual allocation laws take a decision on the award of grants to: 1) conservation of old Danish livestock breeds (animals), see. Chapter 2, and 2) breeding and breed associations that contribute to the conservation of old Danish livestock breeds, see. Chapter 3.

Chapter 2 Animal supplements section 2. Expensive subsidies granted to private individuals or public institutions, which are the owners of remarkable animals of old Danish livestock breeds, and as of Danish Agrifish agency can be accepted as being part of the coordinated breeding program for the conservation of the breed in question. It is a prerequisite that the grant recipient has entered into a five-year cooperation agreement with genetic resource Committee.

(2). Grants require documentation of pedigree relationship for both the animal and its offspring, and even be granted to animals, which are the parents of renracet offspring born the previous year.

(3). Danish agrifish agency determines which breeds which are considered worth preserving, and which of those eligible for animal supplement Regulation. § 5, paragraph 4.

§ 3. Animal supplements may not constitute 3,000 € per animal unit (DE) annually.

(2). Danish agrifish Agency shall draw up detailed guidelines on the definition of an animal unit (DE).

§ 4. Danish agrifish agency lays down conditions for the granting of subsidies and the amount of animal.

(2). Grants are paid out once a year.

(3). Agency shall establish the modalities for the payment of expensive supplements, see. § 5, paragraph 4.

§ 5. Application for animal supplements under section 2 must be submitted to the Danish Agrifish Agency. Using an application form, which can be found on the Agency's website, www.naturerhverv.dk.

(2). Applications must be received no later than the 21. may 2012.

(3). Danish agrifish Agency sets the other guidelines for the application procedure.

(4). Indication of the breeds that are considered worth preserving, and which of those eligible for animal supplement Regulation. § 2, paragraph 3, and the detailed guidelines for the application procedure and the payment of the basic regulation. § 4 (3) and (3) of this provision are listed in the Guide to the application form.

Chapter 3 reimbursement for breeding and breed associations § 6. Danish agrifish agency can provide grants for breeding and breed associations that contribute to the conservation of old Danish livestock breeds.

(2). Breeding and breed associations is the designation for associations that have an interest in one or more races, which is defined by a race description. Race description shall define the criteria for an animal must meet to be classified to the country or race (s).

§ 7. The grant referred to in paragraph 6 is assigned as an annual one-off grants for the organisation of meetings and costs for establishing begets electronic herdbook, etc.

§ 8. The grant under section 6 requires a prior signed a cooperation agreement with the genetic resources of the Committee, as well as subsequent debriefing with the relevant supporting documents for expenses incurred.

(2). No reimbursement for private work or societies ' general operating expenditure.

(3). The cooperation agreement referred to in paragraph 1 may contain agreements on cooperation in the field of breeding breeding objectives, planning, dissemination, kryokonservering, registration of breeding breeders as well as agreements concerning the entry on the market of animals, etc.

§ 9. Danish agrifish Agency shall determine the amount of the financial contribution referred to in article 6.

(2). In cases where there are several different race within a race associations, Danish Agrifish agency can provide that the grant is divided between the respective associations.

(3). Grants are paid out once a year.

§ 10. Grant application must be submitted to the Danish Agrifish Agency. Using an application form, which can be found on the Agency's website, www.naturerhverv.dk.

(2). Applications must be received no later than the 21. may 2012.

Chapter 4 common provisions section 11. Danish agrifish agency may decide that the commitment to grant in whole or in part shall lapse and that paid grants must be repaid if 1) beneficiary no longer meets the conditions necessary to obtain grants, 2) beneficiary has provided false or misleading information or omission of information relevant for granting the subsidy, or 3) the prerequisites for granting subsidies abolished or substantially altered.

(2). The applicant has a duty to give the Agency notice of conditions that can result in the lapse.

§ 12. Danish agrifish agency may provide that the reimbursement in whole or in part must be repaid with interest, calculated from the making of the claim for refund with the interest rate fixed pursuant to the finance law § 5.

§ 13. The notice shall enter into force on the 2. April 2012.

(2). Executive Order No. 1177 by 8. December 2005 on grants for the conservation of farm animal genetic resources shall be repealed. Provisions shall be applicable to applications filed before the 2. April 2012.

§ 14. The Ordinance shall not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland.
