Ordinance amending the Ordinance on vehicles in experiments with modular road trains
(Router and definition of module combination)
In executive order No. 1076 of 7. November 2008 on notice on vehicles in experiments with modular road trains shall be amended as follows: 1. In section 6 shall be added as paragraph 2: ' (2). Combination of vehicles consisting of a truck and trailer, where the combination is longer than 18.75 m as a result of an extracted drawbar, but where the total floor length does not exceed 15.65 m, shall not be considered as a module combination. '
2. Article 10 is replaced by the following: ' article 10. All vehicles in modular road trains shall be equipped with anti-lock brakes.
(2). All vehicles in modular road trains shall be equipped with EBS (Electronic braking System).
(3). The following vehicles may, however, be used in module combination, up to a maximum of six years after the first registration date, regardless of the vehicle are not equipped with EBS (Electronic braking System): 1) semi-trailer that cannot pull the centre-axle trailer or semi-trailer, centre-axle trailer), 3 2) trailer.
(4). Trailer that can haul the second trailer, must be equipped with router, so EBS-brake signal can be used by both the towing as it towed trailer.
(5). Dolly, who is first registered before 1. September 2012, may be used, no matter it is not provided with router. Such a dolly must be arranged so that the electrical signal from the truck-EBS is relayed to the semi-trailer.
(6). Link trailer that is first registered before 1. September 2012, may be used, no matter it is not provided with router. '
section 2 of the notice shall enter into force on the 1. September 2012.
