Ordinance amending Ordinance of cereal seed

(Pickling)

§ 1

In executive order No. 1496 by 15. December 2010 of cereal seed, as amended by Decree No. 1162 of 7. December 2011, shall be amended as follows: 1. section 20 is replaced by the following: ' article 20. Lots of different varieties of the same species may be mixed and sold in this country as a varietal blend, if scientific or technical experience has demonstrated that the mix is particularly suitable to limit the propagation of certain harmful organisms. By the composition of a mixture shall be taken also into account varieties cultivation properties. Danish agrifish agency emits every year message about which varietal mixtures that meet these conditions.

(2). Varietal mixtures, with the exception of mixtures of hybridrug and conventional rye, must contain three or four varieties, which must represent the same proportion of mixture weight wise. Varietal mixtures of hybridrug and conventional rye must contain at least 90 per cent of a hybrid variety.

(3). Notwithstanding paragraphs 1 and 2, the Danish Agrifish agency after a concrete assessment allow a consignment of seed is approved for sale in a different ratio than mentioned in paragraphs 1 and 2, provided that scientific or technical experience proves that another composition is particularly suitable to limit the propagation of certain harmful organisms.

(4). There must be information about parties to be included in a blend that makes it acceptable, that they do not meet the quality standards laid down in annex 5.

(5). Varietal mixtures must be manufactured under the sampler's supervision. '

2. Article 23 shall be replaced by the following: ' article 23. By chemical treatment (pickling) of cereal seed should information about pickling and mordant is entered on the official label referred to in article 6. Annex 6, or at a supplier's label.

(2). Dressed a lot after it is certified, must take a new test of the lot for use in a possible investigation of whether the party still adheres to the norm in annex 5, part II, for germination. § § 8-10, section 14, paragraph 3, and section 26 applies accordingly. '

3. Annex 6, i., certified seed, D., nr. 10, is repealed.

section 2 of the Ordinance shall enter into force on 13 November. July 2012.
