Completion of the prohibition of imports of feed products containing certain seeds and beans from Egypt 1)

In accordance with paragraph 1 (1), 1-3, section 2, paragraph 2. 4 and 5, and section 6 (4). 2, in the law of feedingstuffs, cf. Law Order no. 418 of 3. May 2011 shall :

Area and Definitions

§ 1. The commuting includes imports into Denmark of certain animal feed products, cf. § 3, which originates in Egypt.

§ 2. In this notice, the definitions laid down in Regulation No by the European Parliament and of the Council 8/178/2002 of 28. of January 2002 laying down general principles and requirements in food law, the establishment of the European Food Safety Authority and on the procedures for food safety and in the notice of use at all times relating to animal feed ; and for feed business operators.

Import bans

§ 3. The import of the products listed below shall be prohibited by the following customs codes :

1) Salasennepsprouts, (rucolabuds) under customs code KN ex 0704 90 90

2) Red besprouts, radicsprouts, under customs code KN ex 0706 90 90

3) Sirs of legumes, fresh or chilled, under customs code KN ex 0708

4) Sojaspirin, under customs code KN ex 0709 90 90

5) Fruits, unbelated and dried, whether or not shellled or split, under customs code KN 0713

6) Bug hornsseed, under customs code KN 0910 99 10

7) Soya beans also crushed under customs code KN 1201 00

8) Mustard seed, under customs code KN 1207 50

9) Other oleaginous seeds and fruits, including crushed, under customs code KN 1207 99 97

10) Sugar beet seeds under customs code KN 1209 10 00

11) Lucernet seed (alfalfa), under customs code KN 1209 21 00

12) Vegetable seeds, under customs code KN 1209 91

13) Lucernesprouts, under customs code KN ex 1214 90 90

Inspection

§ 4. The Food Management Board shall check that feed business operators comply with the provisions of this notice.

Paragraph 2. The Food Authority may notify the requirements and prohibitions deemed necessary to ensure compliance with this notice, cf. Section 2 (2). 4, in the law of feedingstuffs.

Paragraph 3. The costs of fulfilment of the bulleted and prohibitions shall be borne by the measures against which the measures are intended, cf. Section 2 (2). Five, in the field of animal feed.

Penalty provisions

§ 5. With fine punishment, the one who

1) violating section 3,

2) violates a ban granted in accordance with section 4 (4). 2, or

3) fail to comply with an injunction issued in accordance with section 4 (2). 2.

Paragraph 2. Companies can be imposed on companies. (legal persons) punishable by the rules of the penal code 5. Chapter.

Entry into force

§ 6. The announcement shall enter into force on the 18-1. December 2011.

Paragraph 2. At the same time, notice No 842 of 8. July 2011, banning the import of feed products containing certain seeds and beans.
