Publication of the quality requirements for shellfish waters 1)

Under section 21 of the Act on Environmental Goals and the Water Instances and International Natural Protection Areas (Environmental Target-Clause), cf. Law Order no. 932 of 24. In September 2009 :

§ 1. The announcement shall establish quality requirements for shellfish waters ; 2) .

§ 2. The concentration of the substances listed in Annex 1 must not exceed the quality requirements laid down in accordance with the notice of environmental quality requirements for water zones and requirements for the emission of pollutants into water, sea or sea.

Paragraph 2. The concentration of the substances listed in Annex 2 must not exceed the quality requirements set out in the Annex in the seafarers in the shellfish. however, section 20 b (s), 1 in the notice on the monitoring of surface water, ground water, protected areas and on night watchings in international nature protection areas, etc.

§ 3. Monitoring of quality standards shall be carried out in accordance with the rules in the notice on the monitoring of surface water, ground water, protected areas and on night monitoring in international nature protection areas, etc.

§ 4. The announcement shall enter into force on the 24th. January, 2011.

Quality requirements II for shellfish waters

Temperature ° C (in water)
The temperature differential caused by a discharge must not exceed the temperature measured in water areas which are not affected by more than 2 ° C in the shellfish.
Colour (by filtering) mg Pt/1 (in water)
The colour of the water caused by a discharge must, after filtering in shellfish waters, which are affected by this discharge, not deviate from the colour measured in water areas not affected by more than 10 mg per litre.
