Law on the amendment of the Act on the establishment of the Dansk Center for International Studies and Human Rights and certain other laws 1)

(Expansion of the competence of the Human Rights Institute to the Gender of Gender)

We, by the Queen of God, Denmark's Queen, do our thing : the parliament has adopted and we know the following law.

§ 1

Law no. 411 of 6. June 2002 on the establishment of the Danish Centre for International Studies and Human Rights, as amended by Section 2 of Act 2. 1156 of 19. In December 2003, the following changes are made :

1. Foot notation the title shall be replaced by the following :

" 1) The law contains provisions that implement parts of Council Directive 2000 /43/EC of 29. June 2000 on the implementation of equal treatment of all irrespective of race and ethnic origin, the Community Official Journal, 2000, nr. In 180, page 22, Article 20 of Council Directive 2006 /54/EC of 5. July 2006 on the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities and equal treatment of men and women in the context of employment and occupation (recast), EU Official Journal (2006). In 204, page 23, and Article 12 of Council Directive 2004 /113/EC of 13. In December 2004 on the implementation of the principle of equal treatment between men and women in the context of access to and supply of goods and services, the EU Official Journal 2004, nr. L-373, page 37. "

2. I Section 2 (2). 2, no. 4, the following shall be inserted after ' promoting equal treatment for all non-discrimination on account of ' : 'gender,'.

§ 2

In the law on equal treatment of men and women, in respect of employment, etc., cf. Law Order no. 734 of 28. June 2006, the following changes shall be made :

1. Foot notation the title shall be replaced by the following :

" 1) The law contains provisions implementing Council Directive 92 /85/EEC of 19. In October 1992, the implementation of measures to improve safety and health at work for workers who are pregnant, who have just given birth, or as a tenth special directive pursuant to Article 16 (1). 1, in Directive 89 /391/EEC), EC Official Journal (1992) No, L 348, page 1, Council Directive 2006 /54/EC of 5. July 2006 on the implementation of the principle of equal opportunities and equal treatment of men and women in the context of employment and occupation (recast), EU Official Journal (2006). In 204, page 23, and Council Directive 2010 /18/EU of 8. March 2010 on the framework agreement on parental leave, which has been signed by UNICE, CEEP and EFS, EU Official Journal, nr. "L 68, page 13."

2. After Section 17 is inserted in Chapter 7 :

" § 18. The Institute for Human Rights has the task of promoting, evaluating and monitoring, and supporting the equal treatment of women and men without discrimination on the grounds of sex, including by assisting victims of discrimination with their complaints ; discrimination, taking into account the rights of the victims, associations, organisations and other legal persons, conduct independent investigations of discrimination and publicizing reports and recommendations on matters relating to issues such as : in relation to discrimination. `

§ 3

In the law on the equality of women and men, cf. Law Order no. 1095 of 19. September 2007, as amended by Section 15 of Law No 387 of 27. May 2008 and Law No 484 of 12. In June 2009, the following changes are made :

1. The following paragraph 13 is inserted :

" Chapter 5

Human Rights Institute

§ 14. The Institute for Human Rights has the task of promoting, evaluating and monitoring, and supporting the equal treatment of women and men without discrimination on the grounds of sex, including giving victims of discrimination against unwilling help to treat them with treatment ; their complaints about discrimination taking into account the rights of the victims, associations, organisations and other legal persons, conduct unwillingly enquiries and shall publish unwillingly reports and submit ; recommendations on any issue of discrimination. '

§ 4

The law shall enter into force on the 15th. March, 2011.

§ 5

The law does not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland, but in the case of the Faroe Islands and Greenland, sections 1 can be set in full or in part to the Faroe Islands and Greenland, with the changes that the ferry or Greenland conditions are changing.
