Completion of charges using international payment instruments

In accordance with section 80 (4), Ten, in the law on payment services and electronic money, cf. Law Order no. 365 of 26. April 2011 :

§ 1. For the purposes of this notice :

1) Payment instrument : Any form of a personal instrument or set of procedures agreed between the user and the provider of payment services and which the user uses to implement a payment order.

2) A debetrotransaction : A payment transaction with a payment instrument where the amount is deducted from the paying account immediately after the receipt has received information about the transaction.

3) A credit transaction : A payment transaction with a payment instrument where the amount is not deducted from the paying account immediately after the receipt has received information about the transaction, but only be withdrawn after a period agreed between the payment and its payment ; payment service provider.

4) International payment instrument : A payment instrument which may be used for cash-on or payment instrument in several countries.

5) Danish Issued International Payment Instrument : An international payment instrument issued by a provider situated in Denmark.

6) Foreign international payment instrument issued : An international payment instrument issued by a provider situated outside Denmark.

7) Resolves : A provider of payment services that enter into an agreement with a payment system for a payment system.

8) Payment system : A system for the transfer of funds with formal and standardised routines and rules for processing, clearing or settlement of payment transactions.

9) Patals : A natural or legal person holding a payment account and authorists a payment order from this payment account, or, if there is no payment account, a natural or legal person who is issuing a payment order.

10) Remit To : A natural or legal person, who is the intended recipient of the funds that are part of a payment transaction.

11) Toleration Transaction : An action taken by a payer or a payee with a view to paving, transferring or raising funds, without regard to any underlying obligations between the paying and the payee.

12) Physical trade : The execution of a payment transaction, which presupcts the physical presence of the payment and payment recipient.

§ 2. The payment service ground section, 80, paragraph, 2-4 and paragraph 1. 6, do not apply to the use of international payment instruments.

§ 3. Reliable may charge the payment costs for the operation of a payment system where the payment transaction is carried out using a Danish or foreign-issued international payment instrument. The costs shall be fixed after payment services-paragraph 79.

Paragraph 2. Imhablers of Danish or foreign payment instruments must clearly publish the maximum charges associated with the implementation of a payment transaction using the relevant payment instruments.

§ 4. The payment recipient shall not charge a fee of the payment for a transaction transaction in the physical trade when the payment of a Danish or a foreign-issued international payment instrument is paid.

Paragraph 2. The payment consignon shall charge a fee of the payment for a credit transaction in the physical trade when the payment of a Danish or a foreign-issued international payment instrument shall be paid.

Paragraph 3. The payment will not charge the fee of the payment unless the payment is made by means of a credit transaction by means of a Danish or foreign issuer, unless payment is made by means of a guarantee of security. payment instrument.

Other provisions
