Law on the amendment of the elections to Danish Members of the European Parliament and the law on municipal and regional elections

(Choices and eligibility for EU diplomats and others)

We, by God's grace, the Queen of the Danes, do our thing.

The parliament has adopted the following law, and we know that the following law has been approved by Parliament's consent :

§ 1

In the law on the choice of Danish Members of the European Parliament, cf. Law Order no. 143 by 24. In February 2009, the following changes are made :

1. I Section 3, paragraph 3. 1, no. 3, the following shall be inserted after ' and resident in Denmark ` : ` or is registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs '.

2. I § 14 (1) (a) 1, pasted as Act 2. :

" People who have been voting for section 3, paragraph 3. 1, no. 3 and registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall be recorded as requested, cf. however, paragraph 1 ' 2, on the electoral register of the municipality in which they have their private residence. `

3. I § 14 (1) (a) 2, no. 2, the following shall be inserted after ' since the non-stop residence in Denmark ' : ` or since the case has been uninterrupted in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, '.

4. I § 14 (1) (a) 4, pasted as Act 2. :

Furthermore, the Ministry of the Interior and the Health Minister also lays down rules on the notification of relocation to another municipality and of relocation abroad for persons who have been voting for section 3 (3). 1, no. Three, registered in the Foreign Affairs Protocol. "

5. I Section 15 (3). ONE, ONE. pkt., the following shall be inserted after ' registered register ' shall be inserted : ' or registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. `

6. I Section 19 (1). 3, is inserted after 1. Act. :

" For candidates who are elected, who have the right to vote in accordance with section 3, paragraph 3. 1, no. 3, and registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shall instead be given to date of birth. `

§ 2

In the Law on municipal and regional choices, cf. Law Order no. 144 of 24. In February 2009, as amended by Section 6 of Law No 571 of 31. In May 2010, the following changes are made :

1. I § 1 inserted after paragraph 1. 1 as new paragraph :

" Stop. 2. Furthermore, anyone who, on election day is 18 years old, is a citizen of one of the other Member States of the European Union and is registered in the Protocol of the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union and is registered in the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

paragraphs 2 and 3 shall then be set out in paragraph 1. 3 and 4.

2. I § 7 pasted as Act 2. :

" People who have been voting for section 1, paragraph 1. 2, shall be recorded as requested, cf. however, paragraph 1 ' 2, on the electoral register of the municipality in which they have their private residence. `

3. I § 7 pasted as paragraph 2 :

" Stop. 2. People who have been voting for section 1, paragraph 1. 2, however, shall be entered without a request in the electoral list if the said

1) was listed in the electoral list in Denmark at the end of the elections to the municipal management boards and the regional councils ;

2) since uninterrupted has been registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and

3) did not request to be deleted from the choice list. "

4. I § 8 pasted as paragraph 5 :

" Stop. 5. The Minister for the Interior and Health Minister shall lay down detailed rules on the inclusion of the electoral register of persons who have voted for voting in accordance with section 1 (2). 2, and whether these persons ' s notification of relocation to another municipality and of relocation abroad. ` ;

5. I Section 9 (1). 1 and 2, the following information shall be inserted after the ' information contained in the Central Personnel register (CPR) : ` : and details of persons who have been voting for the right to vote in section 1 (1). TWO. "

6. I section 24 (2). 1, is inserted after 1. Act. :

" For candidates who are polling and voting in accordance with section 1, paragraph 1. 2, instead of the person number shall be given to date of birth. `

7. I § 25, paragraph. 2, is inserted after 1. Act. :

" For the stillers who have the right to vote for Section 1, paragraph 1. 2, instead of the person number shall be given to date of birth. `

§ 3

The law shall enter into force on 1. July, 2011.
