WE, MARGRETHE the SECOND, by the grace of God Queen of Denmark, do indeed:

The Danish Parliament has adopted and we know Our consent confirmed the following law:

§ 1

Of the law on the election of Danish members of the European Parliament, see. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 143 of 24. February 2009, is amended as follows: 1. In article 3, paragraph 1, no. 3, shall be inserted after ' and has permanent residence in Denmark ': ' or are registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Protocol '.

2. In paragraph 14 (a), paragraph 1, the following is inserted as a 2. item:

' Persons who have the right to vote under section 3 (1) (8). 3, and which is registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Protocol, be included on request, see. However, paragraph 2, of the electoral roll in the municipality where they have their private property. '

3. In paragraph 14 (a), paragraph 2, no. 2, be inserted after ' since then have had uninterrupted permanent residence in Denmark ': ' since then without interruption or have been registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Protocol '.

4. In paragraph 14 (a), paragraph 4, insert as 2. item:

» The Interior and the Minister of health shall lay down further rules on notification of moving to another municipality and urban migration abroad of persons who have the right to vote under section 3 (1) (8). 3, and which is registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Protocol. '

5. In article 15, paragraph 1 1. paragraph shall be added after ' opted-in ': ' population register or registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Protocol '.

6. In article 19, paragraph 3, shall be inserted after 1. item:

» For candidates who are eligible for election, as have the right to vote under section 3 (1) (8). 3, and which is registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Protocol, instead of abandonment date of birth social security number. '

§ 2

Of the law on municipal and regional elections, see. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 144 of 24. February 2009, as amended by section 6 of the law No. 571 of 31. May 2010, is amended as follows: 1. In section 1, the following is inserted after paragraph 1 as new paragraph: "(2). Elections to the Municipal Council and the Regional Council has also anyone who is 18 years of age on election day, is a national of one of the other Member States of the European Union and is registered in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Protocol. '

Paragraphs 2 and 3 shall become paragraphs 3 and 4 hereafter.

2. In section 7 is inserted as 2. item:

' Persons who have the right to vote pursuant to section 1, paragraph 2 shall be entered at the request of the basic regulation. However, paragraph 2, of the electoral roll in the municipality where they have their private property. '

3. In section 7 paragraph 2 shall be inserted: ' (2). Persons who have the right to vote pursuant to section 1, paragraph 2, however, without a request to be entered on the electoral roll, where those 1) was entered on the electoral roll in Denmark for the last elections to the municipal councils and regional councils, 2) since then without interruption have been registered in the Foreign Ministry's Protocol and 3) has not requested to be removed from the electoral roll. '

4. In section 8 shall be inserted following paragraph 5: ' paragraph 5. The Interior and the Minister of health shall lay down the detailed rules for inclusion on the electoral roll of persons who have the right to vote pursuant to section 1, paragraph 2, and, if these persons review by moving to another municipality and housing vacancies abroad. '

5. In article 9, paragraphs 1 and 2, shall be inserted after ' the information contained in the Central Person register (CPR) ': ' and information about the persons who have the right to vote pursuant to section 1, paragraph 2 '.

6. In article 24, paragraph 1, shall be inserted after 1. item:

» For candidates who are eligible for election and who has the right to vote pursuant to section 1, paragraph 2, shall be in lieu of abandonment date of birth social security number. '

7. In article 25, paragraph 2, be inserted after 1. item:

» For producers, who have the right to vote pursuant to section 1, paragraph 2, shall be in lieu of abandonment date of birth social security number. '

§ 3 the law shall enter into force on the 1. July 2011.
