Publication of the amendment of the publication of the commercial trade in animals (Animal traffickers)

(Education requirements)

§ 1

Notice no. 1022 of 12. December 2002 on the commercial trade in animals (animal trade), as amended by the notice of publication No 2 ; 1499 of 20. December 2004 and Notice no. 1380 of 17. In December 2009, the following changes are made :

1. § 1 ITREAS :

" § 1. This notice shall include the crew of animals as part of commercial trade in animals from or outside of regular business premises, in accordance with the provisions of Article 18 (1) of the Animal Control Act. ONE, ONE. pkt., only operating with the authorisation of the food item, cf. however, paragraph 1 2.

Paragraph 2. This notice shall not include the team of dogs in the context of commercial trade in and breeding of dogs. `

2. § 23 ITREAS :

" § 23. The person (s) who are responsible for the business must have completed

1) a vocational training as a representative of the animal ; or

2) an education on the handling of animals with a professional objective at least the same level.

Paragraph 2. The person (s) responsible for the establishment must ensure that employees who handle animals or provide advice on the crew of animals within six months of post-employment are at the latest ;

1) completed an education referred to in paragraph 1. 1 or

2) acquired basic skills in the handling of animals by carrying out another education or part of one or more education.

Paragraph 3. The provision in paragraph 1 shall be 2 does not apply to employees ;

1) having a weekly working hours of less than 20 hours and does not provide advice on the team of animals ; or

2) in the case of an animal vocational training or zookeeper vocational training, an animal ' s own use in an animal trade. ` ;

§ 2

Paragraph 1. The announcement shall enter into force on 1. In March, 2010, cf. however, paragraph 1 2.

Paragraph 2. Section 23, paragraph 1. Amendments Nos 2 and 3, in the notice of commercial trade in animals (animal traffickers), in the form of this notice, section 1, no. 2, enter into force on 1. January 2012.

§ 3

For establishments before 1. In March 2010, a licence to keep animals under commercial trade in animals shall be subject to section 23 (4). 1, in the notice of commercial trade in animals (animal traffickers), in the form of this notice, section 1, no. 2, first apply from 1. January 2015.
