Publication of the amendment of the EC type-approval and verification of the EC type-approval

(Amendment of rules for EEC component type-approval and the EEC first-time verification)

§ 1

Notice no. 1139 of 15. in December 2003 on EEC component type-approval and verification, as amended by the notice of publication No 1. 161 of 5. March 2008, the following changes are made :

" § 2. EEC type-approval, cf. Cap. 2, for a director of the instrument, the application shall be made by the Security Office in accordance with the provisions laid down for the instrument in question or by the competent measurement technical service in another Member State. The application shall contain evidence that the instrument complies with legal requirements in the form of a type test report and a draft of a type-approval certificate from a laboratory, cf. Section 7 (2). 3. "

3. I § 3, section 7, paragraph. THREE, TWO. pkt., two places in § 12, paragraph 1. 3, section 12, paragraph. 4, section 14 (4). 2, and § 23 "The Danish Accreditation and Transit Fund" shall be replaced by the following : 'Security Agency'.

4. Section 15 (3). 3, ITREAS :

" Stop. 3. EEC first-time verification shall be carried out by laboratories, which are specially authorised by the Security Agency, on the basis of the fact that they have the accreditation required from the Danish Accreditation and Transit Fund (DANAK) or equivalent ; the accreditation body, which is co-signatory of the EA multilateral agreement on mutual recognition. ` ;

5. I Annex 1, point 4, 'The Danish Accreditation and Transit Fund' is replaced by 'the Security Agency' in two places.

§ 2

The announcement shall enter into force on 1. April 2010.
