Executive order on reimbursement for chiropractic treatment in practice sector

Pursuant to §§ 66 and 72 in health law, referred to in article 6. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 913 of 13. July 2010, fixed: § 1. Grants for Group 1-insured persons are subject to the condition that they are looking for a chiropractor, who has joined the existing agreement between the regions for wages and tariffs and Danish Chiropractic Association.

§ 2. Payment rates for insured persons and the procedures for granting aid shall be laid down in the agreement between the regions for wages and tariffs and Danish Chiropractic Association.

§ 3. For patients who have chronic disorders of the locomotor system, shall be granted the following grants: 1) to the chiropractic clinical base performance: By first-time visit, new non-identical disease activity, as well as by new identical disease activity later than one year after completion of treatment shall be granted a subsidy of 94.00 crowns.

2) to chiropractic clinical base performance: By new disease activity within one year after the completion of treatment shall be granted a subsidy on 70.50 Crowns.

3) to chiropractic clinical performance with continued treatment is granted a subsidy of 47.00 crowns.

4) for x-ray examination is granted a subsidy of 100.00 dollars.

5) For additional x-ray screening is granted a subsidy of DKK 50.00.

6) For ultrasound examination is granted a subsidy of 100.00 kr.

7) Which further increases to basic performance and clinical chiropractic chiropractic clinical performance: By patients with acute musculoskeletal disorders, patients with suspected herniated, paralysis, follow-up examination in a course of treatment, patients with multiple disorders with different origins and by patients requiring additional treatment is granted a subsidy of 23.50 Crowns.

8) As further increases to basic performance and clinical chiropractic chiropractic clinical performance: how massive action is required, such as treating certain patients with suspected herniated or with severe acute teams, by severely disabled persons by patients requiring extensive complementary therapy in patients with multiple disorders with different origins, and where a massive multifaceted therapeutic intervention is required be granted a subsidy of 47.00 crowns.

9) as a complementary addition to chiropractic clinical performance: By patients in connection with individual prophylaxis is granted a subsidy of 23.50 Crowns.

10) As supplementary Appendix to chiropractic clinical performance: By patients with disorders in need of an extraordinary time consuming prophylaxis is granted a subsidy of 47.00 crowns.

11) for introduction to supervised training is granted a subsidy of $ 94.00.

12) For supervised training is granted a subsidy of 47.00 kr.

(2). Detailed guidelines for the definition of the persons covered by the provisions referred to in paragraph 1, shall be laid down in the agreement between the regions for wages and tariffs and Danish Chiropractic Association.

§ 4. To other patients than those referred to in section 3, the following subsidies shall be referred to: 1) to the chiropractic clinical base performance: By first-time visit, new non-identical disease activity, as well as by new identical disease activity later than one year after completion of treatment shall be granted a subsidy of 94.00 crowns.

2) to chiropractic clinical base performance: By new disease activity within one year after the completion of treatment shall be granted a subsidy on 70.50 Crowns.

3) to chiropractic clinical performance with continued treatment is granted a subsidy of 36.65 crowns.

4) for x-ray examination is granted a subsidy of 100.00 dollars.

5) For additional x-ray screening is granted a subsidy of DKK 50.00.

6) For ultrasound examination is granted a subsidy of 100.00 kr.

7) as a complementary addition to chiropractic clinical performance: By patients in connection with individual prophylaxis is granted a subsidy of 18.32 crowns.

8) as a complementary addition to chiropractic clinical performance: By patients with disorders in need of an extraordinary time consuming prophylaxis is granted a subsidy of 36.65 crowns.

9) for introduction to supervised training is granted a subsidy of 73.30 us $.

10) For supervised training is granted a subsidy of 36.65 kr.

§ 5. In §§ 3 and 4 listed the reimbursement amounts are listed in 1. July 2000-level. Grant amounts will be adjusted in accordance with the rules laid down in the approved agreement.

(2). The adjusted amount of the grant referred to in article 6. paragraph 1 shall be rounded to the nearest whole penny.

§ 6. Reimbursement for treatment with chiropractic treatment is granted by the Regional Council in the insured person's country of residence and region.

§ 7. Both group 1 and group 2-insured persons pay their own share of the fee directly to the chiropractor. Group 2 – insured persons who have received treatment with a chiropractor, who has not signed up to the agreement, the local municipality shall pay the grant on behalf of the Regional Council. In order to get the subsidy paid to the patient forward a receipted and itemized bill to the municipality. The grant may not exceed the amount of this account.

§ 8. Persons who are entitled to benefits in practice sector in accordance with EC law or international agreements, has during the stay here in this country the right to reimbursement for chiropractic treatment on the same terms as Group 1-secured.

(2). By Community legislation or international agreements shall mean Council Regulation (EEC) No 2377/90. 883/2004 on the application of social security schemes to employed or self-employed persons and members of their families moving within the community, and the related regulation (EEC) No 2377/90. 574/72 on the implementation of Regulation No 40/94. 883/2004, the agreement on the European economic area (EEA Agreement), the Nordic Convention on Social Security and the agreement between the European Community, its Member States and Switzerland on the free movement of persons.

§ 9. The notice shall enter into force on the 2. October 2010.

(2). At the same time repealed Executive Order No. 1150 of 22. November 2006 for grants after health insurance law to chiropractic treatment.
