Publication of the amendment of the notification of the management of electrical and electronic waste 1)

(Requirements for export, application requirements, information and information requirements, etc.)

§ 1

Notice no. 664 of 27. June 2005 on the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment, as amended by Notice No 2 ; 591 of 9. June 2006 and Notice no. 1226 of 11. In December 2008, the following changes are made :

1. Section 3, paragraph 3. 1, no. 15, ITREAS :

" 15) Hazardous Substances or Product : Any chemical or product considered dangerous in accordance with Bekendtstatement on classification, packaging, marking, sale and storage of chemical substances and products. ` ;

2. section 16 (4). ONE, TWO. pkt., ITREAS :

' WEEE system assigns the producer or importer a quantity of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) from households for which the producer or importer must collect or collect from the municipal schemes and arrange separately handled. ` ;

3. I Section 20 (2). TWO, TWO. pkt., the words ' or ' shall be replaced by ' and '.

4. I § 21 inserted before paragraph 1. 1 as new paragraph :

' It shall be the responsibility of all, including producers and importers or by the acting on their behalf establishing arrangements for the treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment, cf. § 3, nr. 2 (b) to use the best available treatment, recovery and reuse techniques. ' ;

Paraglics 1 to 6 will then be paragraph 1. 2-7.

5. Section 21 (1). 2, there will be paragraph 1. paragraph 3 is replaced by the following

" Stop. 3. The sampling of substances, materials and constituents listed in Annex 2 must be carried out indoors in an impermeable area equipped with the facilities and, where necessary, separate and purification and degreasing devices. ` ;

6. Section 21 (1). 5, there will be paragraph 1. Article 6 is replaced by the following

" Stop. 6. Storage available for storage, including temporary storage, prior to treatment of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), shall be carried out under roofs and appropriate areas with an impermeable coating and waterproof cover, the irrigation facilities ; and, where necessary, separate and purification and degreasing devices. ` ;

7. I § 23 pasted as paragraph 3 :

" Stop. 3. In the case of the export of waste electrical or electronic equipment to third countries, this waste shall only be used if the products referred to in paragraph 1 are taken. The requirements and objectives laid down shall be fulfilled and, where the exporter may submit evidence of the use of the waste, in accordance with the rules laid down in this notice. ` ;

8. I § 24 pasted as paragraph 3 :

" Stop. 3. In the case of the export of waste electrical or electronic equipment to third countries, this waste shall only be used if the products referred to in paragraph 1 are taken. 1 established requirements and objectives are met and if the exporter may submit evidence that the waste has been recyclased or recyclased in accordance with the rules laid down in this notice. `

9. § 29, paragraph. 1, no. 9, ITREAS :

" 9) not collect or collect waste of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), or fail to comply with established conditions for the retrieval, after section 16 ' ;

The announcement will enter into force on the 9th. December, 2009.
