Law on the amendment of the law of higher artistic educational institutions during the Culture Ministry

(Change of the status of Denmark's Design School, the exchange of agreement on fusion of certain educational establishments, etc.)

We, by God's grace, the Queen of the Danes, do our thing.

The parliament has adopted the following law, and we know that the following law has been approved by Parliament's consent :

§ 1

In the law of higher artistic educational establishments, under the Ministry of Culture, cf. Law Order no. 889 of 21. September 2000, the following changes are made :

1. § 1 ITREAS :

" § 1. The law applies to the following state institutions at the Ministry of Culture, which provide training in artistic areas : the Royal Danish Kunstakademis Architecture School, the Royal Danish Kunstakademis Billedart schools, the Royal Danske Kunstakademis Conservatory school, ArkitektSchool Aarhus, The Royal Danske Music Conservatory, the Jyske Music servatory, South Danish Music servatory and actress school, Rytmic Music servatory, the School of Theater School, the Danske Film School, Denmark's Design School.

Paragraph 2. The Minister of Culture will be able to decide that other state educational institutions under the Ministry of Culture are covered by the law.

Paragraph 3. The law shall also apply to institutions which may arise as a result of mergers between two or more institutions referred to in paragraph 1. 1. "

2. After Section 2 is inserted :

" § 2 a. Denmark's Design School, as a higher education institution, has a higher education institution for artistic and scientific basis to provide training in design, craft and related subjects up to the highest level, as well as to perform artistic development activities and on scientific basis to conduct research in the design area. ` ;

3. I § 5 pasted as paragraph 2 :

" Stop. 2. In addition to the tasks set out in paragraph 1, the Conservatory and the Actors Academy shall be in addition to the tasks set out in paragraph 1. First, the task of training actors. South Danish Music servatory and Acting School can be educated in other professions in the performing arts field. "

4. I § 6 the stage area of the stage area ' shall be replaced by ' stage of the stage ` ;

5. ~ § 7 a and 7 b revoked.

6. I § 13 inserted after paragraph 1. 3 as new slices :

" Stop. 4. The Design School Kolding and Denmark Design School may charge a fee from their students to cover the consumption of common materials.

Paragraph 5. The Minister for Culture shall lay down rules on the levying and the adjustment of the fee pursuant to paragraph 1. 4. "

Paragraph 4 becomes paragraph 4. 6.

§ 2

The law shall enter into force on 1. January, 2010.
