Act amending the Act on access to the exercise of certain professions in Denmark
(Simplification of the procedure for the approval of applications, etc.)
WE, MARGRETHE the SECOND, by the grace of God Queen of Denmark, do indeed:
The Danish Parliament has adopted and we know Our consent confirmed the following law:
The law on access to the exercise of certain professions in Denmark, see. lovbekendtgørelse nr. 334 of 20. March 2007, shall be amended as follows: 1. section 3, paragraphs 1 and 2 shall be replaced by the following:
' Persons covered by the European directive on the recognition of professional qualifications and the agreements referred to in paragraph 2, shall submit an application for admission to pursue a regulated profession in Denmark to the authority which manages the profession concerned (the competent authority).
(2). Persons without being covered by the European directive on the recognition of professional qualifications and the agreements referred to in § 2, invokes the professional qualifications obtained abroad as the basis of an application for access to the pursuit of a regulated profession in Denmark, submits application for access also to pursue a regulated profession to the competent authority. ';
2. Article 7 shall be replaced by the following: ' article 7. The Minister of science, technology and innovation can empower a government agency created under the Ministry or after negotiation with the concerned minister, other governmental authorities to exercise the powers conferred in this Act the Minister of science, technology and innovation.
(2). The Minister of science, technology and innovation can lay down rules about access to appeal against decisions taken pursuant to the authority in accordance with paragraph 1, including that decisions cannot be contested.
(3). The Minister of science, technology and innovation can lay down rules governing the exercise of the powers of another government agency after negotiation with the concerned minister will be authorized to exercise under paragraph 1. '
§ 2 paragraph 1. The law shall enter into force on the 1. January 2010.
(2). Applications submitted to the CIRIUS before 1 May 2004. January 2010, and which is not completed by the entry into force of the Act, be completed by the competent authority.
