Completion on the spot checks on the welfare of farm animals and for horses which are not kept for agricultural purposes ;

In accordance with section 4 (1) and (24 (a) (a) (a) (a) 1, in the Animal Control Act, cf. Law Order no. 1343 of 4. In December 2007, as amended by law no. 500 of 12. June 2009, section 15, Law No 336 of 16. The following May 2001 on the hold of carcases and after negotiations with the Minister for Food shall be determined :

§ 1. The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries shall carry out a random physical check of at least 5% of all herds of at least 10 agri-animals or horses that are not kept to agricultural purposes. (5% check).

Paragraph 2. The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries may, in addition to the checks provided for in paragraph 1. 1 test-based physical control of herds of farm animals or with horses not kept for agricultural purposes in order to verify compliance with a given rule or a given regulatory framework intended to : protect animal welfare (tematised checks).

Paragraph 3. For agricultural animals, vertebrates, other than fish, reptiles and padder, which are kept for the production of food, wool, skin or fur or for other agricultural purposes.

Paragraph 4. The controls may be risk-based.

§ 2. Inspections shall be carried out by persons employed in or under the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries or by private practitioners authorized by the Food Authority for this purpose. Inspections may be carried out during the execution of checks pursuant to other legislation.

§ 3. The Food Management Board shall designate the crews to be part of the checks and shall coordinate the performance and the notification of it.

§ 4. In the execution of checks in accordance with section 1 (1). 1 it shall be observed that the following rules have been complied with :

1) The rules of the animal protection laws and regulations which are drawn up using the home meal in the animal protection slope, including rules in the notification of semi-uphroperation and castration of animals, the announcement of animal slaughter, the declaration of slaughter and killing animals, the prohibition of certain aggregates, cervites, etc. for animals and the afearmarking of the earmarking of animals.

2) laws or regulations which separate separate the welfare of the animal species.

Paragraph 2. In the execution of checks in accordance with section 1 (1). In addition, in herds of farmland, the rules laid down in the notice of minimum requirements for the protection of farm animals must be observed.

§ 5. The crew owner is briefed on the results of checks carried out in accordance with the notice.

§ 6. The announcement shall enter into force on 1. January, 2010.

Paragraph 2. Publication no. 1197 of 19. In December 2003 on the checks on the welfare of farm animals and horses which are not kept for agricultural purposes shall be repealed.
