Law on the Change of Act on the Danish Internationally Ship Register

(Applying collective agreements)

We, by God's grace, the Queen of the Danes, do our thing.

The parliament has adopted the following law, and we know that the following law has been approved by Parliament's consent :

§ 1

In the Act on the Danish Internationally Ship Register, cf. Law Order no. 273 of 11. April 1997, as amended by Section 1 of Act 1. 460 of 31. May 2000 and section 2 of the Law No 526 of 7. June 2006, the following change is made :

1. ~ 10 (1)) 2, ITREAS :

" Stop. 2. Collective agreements referred to in paragraph 1. 1 which is concluded by a Danish professional organisation may only include persons residing in Denmark or, in accordance with EU law or other international obligations entered into, a person who is considered to be domiciled in Denmark shall be treated as equivalent to those who live in Denmark. ` ;

§ 2

The law shall enter into force on 1. April 2009.

§ 3

The law does not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland, but can, by means of a king, power in Greenland with the changes that the special Greenlandic conditions are saying.
