Publication of authorisation for self-employed as chiropractor

Purline to Section 53 (3). 3, in the authority on health professionals and on health professional activities, cf. Law Order no. 1350 of 17. In December 2008, the Minister for Health and Prevention of Health and Prevention shall be :

§ 1. In order to obtain authorisation for self-employed as chiropractor, a chiropractor must have carried out an additional practical training (service) in Denmark or a practical training which can be placed on the side of the Board of Health at the service of the Board of Health.

The purpose of the education

§ 2. The purpose of the tour service is to train and further develop the clinical experience of the chiropractor for the purpose of this independent, routine and suitably diagnosed, diagnosis, prevention and treatment within the scope of the archiropractic area of the operation of the archives ; a level corresponding to the generally recognized professional standard. The employment must ensure a broad understanding of the work processes and routines that relate to convenience store activities.

Structure and content of the training and the content

§ 3. The journey service has a duration equivalent to 1 year's full-time employment and must be carried out by a chiropractor (tutor) with authorisation to act independently and with the approval as a tutor, cf. § 5.

Paragraph 2. The Kiropractor himself is responsible for providing the necessary employment.

Paragraph 3. Provisions of less than three months of duration cannot be included as part of the tour service.

Paragraph 4. The service is taking place in a chiropractic practice. The Board of Health may, in exceptional cases, approve of the fact that part of the tour service is carried out by the second employment in the health care system.

§ 4. The service is composed of a clinical part and a theoretical part. The clinical section takes place in chiropractor practices and is organised on the basis of target descriptions and a training programme, where the turnobility date in increasingly performing independent functions is carried out.

Paragraph 2. The content of the theoretical part and the target descriptions and guides for the clinical part of the content and evaluation shall be approved by the Board of Health on the basis of the opinion from the Board of Education in accordance with Article 8.

Paragraph 3. As part of the education process, the rules on chiropractor's business area, including the rules on chiropractor's rights and duties, are reviewed.

Tutors

§ 5. A tutor must practise for the public health insurance and have been practised for at least three years.

Paragraph 2. Tutor has to be approved by the Board of Health. Authorisation will take place on the recommendation of the Education Council. Approval may be granted for a period of up to 5 years at a time.

Paragraph 3. Tutor must organize a training programme with the chiropractor which meets the purpose of the tour service, cf. § 2.

Paragraph 4. Tutor must take part in a course that is targeted at the tutor. The course shall be organised by the Education Council and approved by the Board of Health.

Paragraph 5. Tutor is required to provide documentation for the duration of the set-set and the course of the employment.

§ 6. The service must take place within a physical framework, which is in accordance with the generally recognised present Danish chiropractor standard. There must be x-ray facilities.

§ 7. Tutoring must have a patient sub-layer that is appropriately differentiated and of reasonable size, so that practice has a representative of the best practice of representative education.

Education Council

§ 8. The Board of Health shall set up a training council of six members appointed for a period of five years with the possibility of re-nomination. The composition of the Council shall :

-WHAT? 1 member designated by the Board of Health

-WHAT? 1 member designated by Danish Regions,

-WHAT? 1 member designated by the Coal and Board of the Regions :

-WHAT? 1 member designated by the University of South Danish University (SDU)

-WHAT? 1 member appointed by the Norse Institute for Kiropractics and Klini Biomechanic (NIKKB)

-WHAT? 1 member designated by Danish Kiropractor Forening (DKF)

The Danish Kiropractor Federation is responsible for the task as secretariat of the Council. A committee (Turnotation) carries out the practical tasks associated with the organisation and implementation of the tour service.

§ 9. The Education Council is an advisory to the Board of Health in matters of the Trial Service, including the possible adjustments to the content of the training.

Paragraph 2. The Education Council nominations for the approval of the Board of Health :

-WHAT? target descriptions and guides relating to the requirements for the candidate and tutor, including on the evaluation of the flow,

-WHAT? the theoretical training programme ;

-WHAT? content and scope of course for tutors,

-WHAT? the individual tutors.

Application and documentation

§ 10. Authorisation for self-employed as chiropractor shall be communicated by the Board of Health on the recommendation of the Education Council by the Health Services Board.

Paragraph 2. The application for authorization to operate independently with the necessary documentation shall be submitted to the Education Council. The Kiropractor shall itself provide the necessary documentation for the duration and course of the set-down period.

§ 11. Foreign-educated chiropractors that meet the requirements of the collective Nordic labour market agreement for certain personnel groups within the health care services and so on shall be authorised to act as a chiropractor of the Board of Health at the same time as a chiropractor of the Health Care Office.

Entry into force

§ 12. The announcement shall enter into force on 1. In August 2009 and in the case of complementary practical training courses commencing after this date. At the same time, notice No 883 of 20. September 2005 on the additional practical training and guidance of chiropracctors. 88 of 17. In October 2005 on the complementary practical training of kiropractors (turno-service).
