Appendix 1

Publication of the notification to the Cancerregister of Cancer diseases and so on.

In accordance with section 19 and 82 of the law on health professionals and on health professional activities, cf. Law Order no. 1350 of 17. In December 2008 :

§ 1. It is the responsibility of doctors to report to the CancerRegist, in accordance with the rules laid down in this notice.

§ 2. The requirement to make notification includes the diseases referred to in Annex 1 and so on.

Paragraph 2. The diagnoses and diagnostic numbers listed in Annex 1 correspond to the classification of diseases of 1993 (ICD10), based on the World Health Organisation ' s disease classification. In the revision of this, the Board of Health may make a similar amendment to Annex 1.

Paragraph 3. Notification shall be made regardless of any notification to any other key registers.

Paragraph 4. Notification shall be made by :

1) all newly diagnosed cases of tumour disease,

2) cases of multiple tumours in the same person, with a separate notification on each tumour disease, which is perceived as a new primary tumour ;

3) the review of an earlier diagnosis covered by the notification requirement,

4) finding that a previously reported tumour has not been present ; and

5) the progression of precincous changes or carcinoma in situ, including transitions to invasive tumours.

Paragraph 5. Notification shall be made no later than in the case of the patient ' s final registration.

§ 3. The obligation to carry out the notification shall be the responsibility of :

1) the person responsible for the first time diagnosed, verifies or treats clinical and / or microscopic diagnosis, notifying disease, whether or not previously reported, by means of a hospital department that first diagnoses, checks or treats clinical and / or microscopic diagnosis, whether or not previously reported.

2) practising specialists, who first diagnose, treat or control notification, without reference and subsequent contact to the hospital,

3) general practitioners (special doctors in general medicine), which the first time diagnoses, processes or verifies, without reference and subsequent contact to hospital or to practising specialist medical practitioners, and

4) the competent medical examiner in hospital departments or institutes of pathology and propositions of the forensic institutes, where the autopsy is demonstrated by the notifiable disease, which is not previously recognized and reported to the Cancerregister, a Clinical Health Department (unexpected section discovery).

§ 4. Notification shall be made electronically to the Cancer Registry, the Board of Health, in accordance with instructions made out by the Board of Health, which is available on the Health Board ' s website.

§ 5. After Article 82 of the law on health professionals and on healthcare, the doctor who is guilty of violation of the notice shall be penalised by the doctor who is guilty of the notice.

§ 6. The announcement shall enter into force on the 15th. November, 2009.
