Appendix 1

Publication of the granting of aid to milk and certain milk products for pupils in schools and teaching institutions 1)

In accordance with paragraph 1 (1), 1-4 and sections 4, 24 and 27 of the European Community regulations on the market organisation of agricultural products and so on, cf. Law Order no. 297 of 28. In April 2004, the authorisation shall be determined :

§ 1. This notice relates to the application of the European Community ' s rules on aid to the supply of milk and certain milk products to pupils in schools and educational establishments.

§ 2. Aid shall be granted for the supply of milk and certain milk products to students who regularly participate in the teaching of the following institutions :

1) The municipal public school, free primary schools and private practice schools were created in the context of state and private seminars.

2) Public and private high school schools, student courses and HF courses.

3) Schools and municipal youth schools.

4) Trading schools and technical schools.

5) The nursery, nursery and leisure homes, operated under the Law of Social Assistance.

6) Other educational institutions for children and young people, including school-free time schemes and institutions for children and young people with extensive physical or mental disabilities.

§ 5. The aid granted under this scheme shall be used to reduce the price paid by the students for the products concerned. This shall be recorded in the accounting documents drawn up in connection with the application of the aid scheme. The accounting material shall be kept for at least five years.

§ 6. In order to obtain support for the scheme, aid shall be registered to the Food Industry to be submitted to the Food Industry on a form which is obtained by contacting the Food Industry.

Paragraph 2. Where the aid is sought by a supplier of the eligible products or an organisation applying for support on behalf of one or more schools or executive agencies, and which are specifically set up for this purpose, the supplier or the organisation prior to the registration of the aid shall be approved by the Directorate-General.

§ 7. The application for payment of aid shall be obtained by way of a call to the Food Business ; applications for payment of aid shall be submitted by the sections referred to in section 6 (2). 2 mentioned suppliers and organisations for the Directorate-General.
