Law On The Amendment Of Various Laws On The Environment Ministry's Area, Etc. (Exception From The Introduction In The Official Gazette Of The Technical Specifications, Etc.)

We, by God's grace, the Queen of the Danes, do our thing.

The parliament has adopted the following law, and we know that the following law has been approved by Parliament's consent :

§ 1

In the law of environmental protection, cf. Law Order no. 1757 of 22. In December 2006, the following changes are made :

1. After § 89 a is inserted in Chapter 10 :

" § 90. The Minister for the Environment may provide for the specified international decisions and technical specifications relating to requirements for undertakings, installations, establishments, products, etc., to which reference has been made to the rules issued under this law, shall be introduced in the law of law.

Paragraph 2. The Minister for the Environment may lay down rules on the ways in which information on the international decisions and technical specifications which are not introduced in law, cf. paragraph 1, can be obtained. "

§ 2

In accordance with the law on water supply, etc., cf. Law Order no. 71 of 17. In January 2007, the following changes are made :

1. The following section 71 is inserted :

" § 71 a. The Minister for the Environment may provide for the specified international decisions and technical specifications relating to requirements for undertakings, installations, appliances, products, water, etc., to which reference has been made to the rules adopted under this law, should not be introduced in law-law.

Paragraph 2. The Minister for the Environment may lay down rules on the ways in which information on the international decisions and technical specifications which are not introduced in law, cf. paragraph 1, can be obtained. "

§ 3

In the law on the protection of the marine environment, cf. Law Order no. 925 of the 28th. In September 2005, as last amended by Section 30 of Law No 551 of 6. June 2007 shall be amended as follows :

1. After § 58 a is inserted, Chapter 16 :

" § 58 b. The Minister for the Environment may provide for the specified international decisions and technical specifications relating to requirements for undertakings, installations, products, ships, platforms, pipelines, etc., which are referred to in rules ; granted under this law, shall not be imported in law.

Paragraph 2. The Minister for the Environment may lay down rules on the ways in which information on the international decisions and technical specifications which are not introduced in law, cf. paragraph 1, can be obtained. "

§ 4

In the law on chemical substances and products, cf. Law Order no. 1755 of 22. In December 2006, the following changes are made :

1. the following chapter shall be added after section 58 :

" Chapter 12 a

Exemption from the introduction to the Regulatory Requirements and so on.

§ 58 a. The Minister for the Environment may provide for the specified international decisions and technical specifications relating to the requirements for chemical substances and products and other products, etc., to which reference is made to the rules adopted pursuant to that law, shall be introduced in the law of law.

Paragraph 2. The Minister for the Environment may lay down rules on the ways in which information on the international decisions and technical specifications which are not introduced in law, cf. paragraph 1, can be obtained. "

§ 5

Law no. 493 of 9. June 2004 on CO 2 -quotas, as last amended by law no. 554 of 6. June 2007 shall be amended as follows :

1. The following section 35 is inserted :

' Exemption from the establishment in the law of technical specifications and so on

§ 35 a. The climate and energy minister may lay down rules for the specified international decisions and technical specifications relating to requirements for undertakings, installations, facilities, etc., or the conditions for the granting of credits or quotas, which are subject to : reference has been made to the rules issued under this law, not to be introduced in law.

Paragraph 2. The climate and energy minister may lay down rules on how information on the international decisions and technical specifications which are not introduced in law, cf. paragraph 1, can be obtained. "

§ 6

The law shall enter into force on the day following the announcement in the law.

§ 7

The law does not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland, but paragraph 3 can be implemented by means of a king power in Greenland, with the deviations from which the special Greenland conditions are worded.
