Law on the amendment of the Penal Code

(Display of the penalties for unlawful coercion in connection with the conclusion of marriage)

We, by God's grace, the Queen of the Danes, do our thing.

The parliament has adopted the following law, and we know that the following law has been approved by Parliament's consent :

§ 1

In the penal code, cf. Law Order no. 1260 of 23. In October 2007, the following changes are made :

1. I § 260 pasted as paragraph 2 :

" Stop. 2. If anyone can make a marriage, then the sentence may go to prison until four years. "

§ 2

The law shall enter into force on the day following the announcement in the law.

§ 3

The law does not apply to the Faroe Islands and Greenland, but can, by means of a king, power in the Faroe Islands with the deviations that the particular ferotable relationships are saying.
