Law on the amendment of the Innovation Act

(Establishment of a new Innovation Committee and modified the admissions and other options etc.)

We, by God's grace, the Queen of the Danes, do our thing.

The parliament has adopted the following law, and we know that the following law has been approved by Parliament's consent :

§ 1

Law no. 421 of 31. May 2000 on the promotion of innovation, research and development, etc. in the food, soil and fisheries sector (innovation law), as amended, inter alia, in section 7 of the Act of Law No 2. 967 of 4. December 2002 and Law No 381 of 3. May 2006 and at the latest at section 70 of Law No 538 of eight. June 2006, the following changes shall be made :

1. The heading for Chapter 2 ITREAS :

"Promotion of innovation, research and development, etc. in the food, land and fishing sector"

2. § § 3-9 is hereby repealed and the following shall be inserted :

" § 3. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries is setting up an innovation committee for the food sector (Innovation Committee).

Paragraph 2. The Committee shall decide to grant aid for the implementation of innovation, research and development projects in the following areas :

1) The primary grounding sector.

2) The main fisheries sector, including aquaculture.

3) The sector on processing and processing of land use by agricultural products.

4) The Sector on processing and processing of fishery products.

5) The primary agricultural sector, in combination with the processing and processing sector, of agricultural products (integrated projects).

6) The main fishing sector, including aquaculture, in combination with the processing and processing sector of fisheries products (integrated projects).

Paragraph 3. The Committee shall decide to grant grants to activities intended to examine the possibilities of drawing up innovation projects covered by paragraph 1. 2.

Paragraph 4. The Committee shall take a decision to grant aid to generic campaigns and marketing.

§ 4. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries shall lay down detailed rules on the composition of the Committee on Innovations and the designation of alternates to the members of the committee.

Paragraph 2. The Minister shall lay down detailed rules for the work of the Innovation Committee, including its Rules of Procedure and the secretariat of the Committee.

Paragraph 3. The Minister shall lay down rules that the Innovation Committee may, in certain cases, authorise the chairman to take decisions on behalf of the committee.

Paragraph 4. The Minister appoint a President and a Vice-President of the InnovationCommittee. The President and Vice-President are members of the committee.

§ 5. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries or the Innovation Committee may obtain advice from experts in relation to the projects referred to in section 3.

Paragraph 2. The Innovation Committee shall be advisory for the Secretary of the State with regard to the overall efforts of the law, including advice in the definition of themes, cf. Section 11 (1). 1. "

3. "Chapter 5" is changed to : "Chapter 3".

4. I ~ 10 (1)) 2, ' Chapters 2 and 4 ` shall be replaced by ' Chapter 2 `.

5. "Chapter 6" is changed to : "Chapter 4".

6. Section 11 (1). 2 and 3, is hereby repealed and the following shall be inserted :

" Stop. 2. The Minister may lay down detailed rules for the administration of the law, including :

1) the measures to be provided for in order to promote the objectives referred to in the Act ;

2) the conditions to be met in order to obtain subsidies, including the participation of beneficiaries in an external evaluation of the project, provided that they are designated for this purpose ;

3) who can obtain grants,

4) subsidy percentage, cf. however, section 12,

5) special grants for small and medium-sized enterprises, and

6) special opportunities for the establishment of innovation clusters and the formation of networks. ` ;

7. § 12, paragraph 1. 1, ITREAS :

" Deposits to projects carried out by small and medium-sized enterprises can be a maximum of 45% respectively. And 35%. of the additional costs involved in the project concerned. The project shall be carried out as a cooperation project in which participation by other small and medium-sized enterprises or other enterprises (large enterprises) or research institutes may be awarded to small enterprises in a maximum of 60%. and to midsize businesses a maximum of 50%. of the additional costs involved in the project in question. ` ;

8. I § 12, paragraph 1. 2, is replaced by ' up to 40%. of the additional cost to : " maximum 40%. of the additional costs. `

9. I § 12, paragraph 1. 4, ' Chapter 5 ' shall be replaced by ' Chapter 3 `, and after ' the following ', the following shall be inserted : ' paragraph, 1 and ".

10. Section 13 (1). 5, revoked.

Paragk 6 and 7 will then be paragraph 1. Five and six.

11. § 14 ITREAS :

" § 14. There may be expenditure on information, road-wire, information and investigation activities in the context of this law, which may include, inter alia,

1) public information on public labelling and quality schemes,

2) evaluation and impact assessment ; and

3) the promotion of knowledge of the production of quality food and diversity in food production.

Paragraph 2. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries may obtain advice from the Innovations Committee on the activities referred to in paragraph 1. 1. "

12. "Chapter 7" is changed to : "Chapter 5."

13. I Section 15 (3). 2, in Chapter 4 : ' Chapter 4 ` shall be replaced by ' Chapter 4 `.

14. "Chapter 8" is changed to : "Chapter 6".

15. I Section 19 (1). 1, ' Chapter 2, 3 and 4 ` shall be replaced by ' Chapter 2 `.

16. "Chapter 9" is changed to : "Chapter 7".

17. "Chapter 10" shall be replaced by : "Chapter 8".

§ 2

The law shall enter into force on 1. July 2008.
